Bro they're leaving the bathroom door open because people are misusing the toilets - just tell us not to and punish accordingly, not have the bathroom door open right in front of a camera too.

If I could give 0 stars, I would

No doubt if I used my real name id get in trouble from teachers for being honest and making the school look bad because that's all they care about
Rather than asking how they can help/improve.

If only they put more effort in for actually caring as they did regulating our school uniforms/appearances

And screw all these accounts who haven't even actually attended, lying about how good this school is. Do you actually think having a coordinated and planned out tour of the school is representative of the experience here?

As a former student who used to go to this school throughout my whole of 6 years, now already graduated, I absolutely have to agree with all of these bad reviews these people have said. There’s so many things about this school that are problematic including how much teachers care about appearances more than anything else. Plus they don’t actually seem to care about mental health as much like they tend to say they do. I’ve never been happy being at this school.
So glad I’m outta there already!

When my eldest son joined this school, he complained about your heating system. Don’t send your kids here! Just go to JB HIFI

St Aloysius is a school with a focus on student success, well-being and empowerment, staff development and innovative practices.
Excellent value for money and a very bright future. Definitely a school to consider.

If your seeing this, this is a sign, DO NOT SEND UR DAUGHTER HERE. I attended the school for 2 years and in that time they managed to completely strip me of my happiness and confidence and i developed depression and anxiety here.as soon as I moved to a public school my grades drastically improved. The people are awful for the most part and the teachers will rather you wear a ribbon and blazer than attend class. Please for the sake of your daughter's sanity do not send her here!

Went to St Al in 1976 and to this day I can honestly say it was a great experience. I still remember everything like it was yesterday.

Had the worst memories of camp here. Was shamed for being on heavy period and not wanting to surf and also advised to canoe under a broken/collapsed bridge which was clearly dangerous. Vividly remember my nose grating the bridge because it was so low, and yet the mentor/camp manager and I was laying flat on the canoe trying to get past it. No idea why we had to go past through that route, but the mentor was adamant on going through that direction despite that there were other routes.
Had some great teachers here though, but it's a shame they've all left.

St Al (North Melbourne campus) is a disgraceful school. They are very discriminative and focus on the wrong things. All they care is the money but nothing for kids learning and wellbeing. Our daughter spent 2 horrible years with this school, she'd been bullied by her peers and teachers. She lost her confident, self-esteem and her smile. We had to move her to a different school urgently due to the situation at the of year 8 and they charged us for not giving them enough notice. It was the end of the year. She didn't even start year 9 but we still had to pay for the first 9 weeks as per their "policies".
I would not recommend this school to anyone. They're not worth a cent.

St Aloysius College is a scam in itself. The principal dominates everything, legitimately every decision (according to the teachers, which half of them don’t even agree with half these decisions and they tell the students this) The school only cares about uniform, ribbons, appearance, status and MONEY! They do not take bullying seriously.there has even been bullying among the teachers. Forcing one teacher to have left the school and it even being in the newspapers, and the principal paying everyone off so the story could go away. They do not provide any sort of support. The way that they handle things is so poor. The students need to pay money for a ribbon in their hair and if they don’t have one they get told off and are forced to buy a new one. They take time out of lunch time and class time to make sure they’ve given us some sort of presentation/ assembly which isn’t beneficial. Sometimes in the class the assigned teacher doesn’t show up so we do our own thing. They are very discriminative even though they have a lot of multicultural students, they still seem to have problems with treating them right.
This school is not worth 6-8k.find a better school to send your daughter to:) a lot of these reviews seem fake as well because a lot of students know how bad this school is.

I went to this school, and it was pretty good, but there was a lot of glass. I have a problem, where similar to birds, I can't see glass. I have walked into many a window or glass door in my day. But aside from that, good school.

Funny how the teachers at this school would always rely on uniforms, ribbons, socks need to be pulled up, why people are wearing PE uniforms during non PE days etc. The real problem here is that they don’t take bullying seriously. They only care about the money and have a poor way of handling things.

I graduated from St Aloysius College in 2013 and having now been 5 years away from high school, I still remember the wise words many of my teachers taught me and left with me! 5 years on, I can genuinely and happy to say I am the person I am today because of this beautiful school, and the environment both the teachers and girls made it to be. Having people in your life who always want the best for you and really care is a dream any teenage girl wants and to something I have and will always hold close to my heart. Once a St Al's go, Always a St Al's girl! I would recommend this brilliant, loving and special school to any aspiring young woman.

St Aloysius is an amazing school. The college offers a range of great, fruitful opportunities for those interested in areas such as sports, arts and science, along with numerous school-held events that promote a sense of community and belonging among all the girls. In addition, the teachers are very kind and approachable. This is really helpful, especially for my VCE years, as they provide me with more than enough resources and are available when help is needed. The school is also very accessible, being walking distance from a number of tram lines and a few minutes from the CBD. Very convenient!

It's tough selecting a secondary school for your daughter especially if she is your only female child. St Aloysius has been the perfect choice for our daughter and family. From our first contact with St Aloysius to the first day of year 7 everything went smoothly. Our daughter loves school, has great friends and is cared for by the teachers. Her learning has gone through the roof! It's super cool that all the students know each others name and there are heaps of opportunities each week to belong, achieve and believe. It's just wow! Our daughter is amazing and will have fabulous choices in the future as St Aloysius is there every step of the way supporting and encouraging her to excel.

Having taken a tour of many high schools I can honestly say that the staff and the students of St Aloysius College exceeded my expectations. The schools ethos and culture is so strongly embedded and fostered by everyone I came into contact with. The school has a very warm culture and the staff are clearly passionate towards providing an environment whereby their girls can reach their full potential. We were overwhelmed with the experiences and innovative learning opportunities provided by the school.

This school is so horrible they don't prevent bullying and this school doesn't care about their students eduction and only care about the money. They don't see how rude people are in the school and should try and open their eyes more and try and fix it. No offence but this school is not worth the money and not worth 6k. This is a very expensive school but with very low standards. I was told by one of our teachers that we were stupid and that we needed to get tests done or we could possibly have ADHD. The school is racist because This girl had a hejab on her head and was told to remove it just because of her religion. One of my friends had only enough money to buy her lunch but told her to buy a ribbon instead so they would rather her not eat and rather her buy a ribbon. They care more about the uniform then the education, When black people are talking they get told off and when other people are talking they don't care. They mistake one black person for another black person which is so racist because just because they have the same skin colour doesn't mean they're the same person. So i would not recommend bringing your daughter to this school because I don't accept this type of behavior from this school. Thank you

It is always difficult to select a secondary school for your daughter, one that covers a diverse range of subjects to allow many experiences and eventually lend to a rewarding career choice, but St Aloysius has that and more. The girls get to experience not only the normal maths, science & english classes but they also get STEM, Food tech, sewing, music, outdoor ed camp; such a broad range. Our daughter has been there 3yrs now (and did not come from a feeder primary school and we live in Point Cook so were in no way affiliated with the school) and from the initial tour, through the transition to Year 7 program and extra cirricular activities she has met many new friends and feels supported by the staff and principal, Mary Farah, as she juggles her schooling and outside sporting achievements. Many opportunities also presented to parents to be involved (if you wish) be it parent forums, mothers/fathers day breakfast, award nights and the school performance. Great school, fully recommended as a great education choice for your daughters

St. Aloysius is a nurturing and outstanding school. As a student, I know I would not be who and where I am today without the support and opportunities provided by the teachers, leadership team and even fellow students. For example, in year seven, the school has really focused on easing the transition from primary school to high school. Now in VCE, there is a focus on motivating us to do our best and helping us to plan our futures as we endeavour into different pathways. This small school allows for each student to be paid greater attention to, as our needs and concerns are always prioritised with every teacher displaying a strong work ethic. I am proud of this school and would confidently recommend it to any parents with daughters looking for a school that embodies a strong sense of community.
