Beautiful church, the only one in the metropolitan area of Melbourne to offer the traditional Holy Mass in Latin (Vetus Ordo) and the priests of the diocese are very good and very helpful.

The only place in Melbourne to do such a beautiful traditional Latin mass. The community is great and there is a lot of dedication to God by the people that go here.

I used to be an altar server at this church when I was doing a short semester of my university here. I loved the experience – the ancient liturgy, the friendly priests, the lovely church, and the wonderful community. This is my second home and I will not hesitate to come back whenever I’m in town. If you are looking for a good Catholic place of worship in Melbourne, this is the place to be!

I’ve started coming to the Traditional Latin Mass for the first time in my life in August 2022, and have realised where I’ve been this whole time. This was a calling for me personally, I believe. The closest one I could find, and it has practically helped change me for the better, in spiritual knowledge and wisdom. Thanks be to God

This church is the place for you if you’re looking for a reverent, traditional Catholic community. Even those as young as Gen Z, please come! It’s a very welcoming parish and we’ll welcome you with open arms!

God be with you

A sanctuary in the People's Republic of Victoria. Thank God for the Catholic Church and for Father Tattersall. "Lead all souls to heaven especially those most in need of God's mercy".

It is a Parish that will help you to build your spiritual treasures where you can be sure that moths and rust can't destroy them, and thieves can't break in and steal them. We are blessed to have excellent Priests and above all I commend to Jesus who is the Eternal High Priest, to richly bless, defend and protect Fr Tattersall, Fr Marshall and Fr McDaniels for their selfless work they do for souls entrusted to their care.

OUR LADY, QUEEN OF THE CLERGY - Please pray for our priest and keep them safe in your Immaculate Heart.

A parish of faithful and welcoming parishioners lead by an upright and orthodox triumvirate of priests. The experience of the holy sacrifice of the mass is overflowing with the sense of the sacred. The most gorgeous music fills the space and often causes newcomers to turn around in awe and wonder. Every detail is attended to and homilies are usually very memorable and topical with deep scriptural insights and commentary on current affairs you won’t hear elsewhere. At the Newman parish, you will experience the mass of the ages and you will be undeniably enriched by your experience. Additionally, this is a strong community with numerous groups and activities for individuals and families to participate in.

I grew up going to this church, so naturally I love it. The pews are too small and close together for tall people, which is really my only complaint, almost everything else here is great. LOVE how the Latin Mass is here every day

Absolutely stunning Catholic Church, dedicated entirely to the Tridentine Mass of the Catholic faith (TLM).
The mass is said entirely in Latin here (aside from the priests’ homily mostly) and even if you have never been to a “Latin Mass” before, but are familiar with the Ordinary Form - you will notice a similarity in structure and it shouldn’t take you long to follow along.as in, don’t let worry about that stop you from coming and experiencing).

A spiritual oasis in Melbourne’s east. The liturgy here is truly otherworldly and transcendental and is celebrated not only with great care and attention to detail but, most importantly, with great reverence and devotion. The musical program here always offers fantastic renditions of sacred music from the extensive treasury of music in the vast history of the Catholic musical tradition.

I love to come to this peaceful place just to forget about the world around me.

My son has been at St Aloysius Primary School for the past four and half years. In this time, I can see my son growing and developing each and every day, I thank St Aloysius's teachers and principle for supporting my son and providing him with the best learning environment.

When we first started in prep every child said hi to my son and knew his name. I thought the children had been told to do this and act friendly to impress us. I can say 3 years on it was not an act but a genuinely warm friendly little school.
