Squishy Minnie Bookstore

The key to running a business is to "run the business" not promote woke agenda. I'm surprised about how the owners post about things rather than just focus on kids books it's more about what the owners experience in their views about headlines in the media than anything else. It is a shame this would be a lovely book store if it wasn't for the constant posts on Instagram about their own views and experiences towards headlines in the news constantly. I do believe that a business should be a place of a neutral setting where no judgements can be made and the business is about the product not the owners. I won't be going back here I don't support it and I don't want my kids to be associated with these types of people.

From what I saw in the window I would not buy anything from here. Just a woke idiots paradise.

Amazingly well-read, knowledgeable staff who can always give great recommendations. Beautiful store with gifts and books for every age from picture books to YA. Favourite shop in the Macedon Ranges.

A great infant to YA bookstore. Lots of eclectic and hard to find titles. Really helpful and friendly staff. Always such a pleasure to go and have a browse in.

Amazing children's bookshop with titles that will appeal to children from the littlies right up to the awkward teens. Very helpful staff who can help provide inspiration if needed, and there are also a range of books to tempt the grown ups. You won't leave empty handed!

Haven't been here yet - waiting until I can travel more than 5 ks from home. When that happens I'll be on a train to buy books for grandchildren, great nephews & young neigjbours. Love what you're doing - Kyneton kids are guaranteed to evolve into highly literate adults. Just wonderful.

Staff are very helpful and so knowledgeable about their books. If you are ever running late to buy a birthday present for a child, this is where you should go. The staff here will point you in the right direction.

Great collection of kids books, pretty well priced with both friendly and knowledgeable staff. The store is also very nicely set out, well stocked but still open and inviting.

Lovely people and huge range of children's books. Kids love the story time at 10: 30 on Thursdays. Definately recommend!

An excellent children's bookshop. A range of lovely non fiction books, some of which I'd never seen before. Lots of fiction catering to all ages. If there are children you buy presents for in your life, go buy them a book here. Lovely staff too. I loved seeing a boy just sitting reading at the little table. A very welcoming place

Such a delightful owner. Knowledgeable and suggested three options when I asked for her help choosing a book for a gift. Such a pleasant shopping experience. Would highly recommend a visit.
