Nice place rare find now, not busy shame everyone eating KFC and Asian fast food. My diy bowl was nice

Been coming here for years, had to remind the server 3 times I would like garlic butter, had zero clue how to make it, had to get a sheet to work out what to do, in the end no garlic butter, this place has gone so far down hill it's not funny, goto St kilda, avoid this Southland store at all costs

1: 22pm Sunday the 5th.

Had the most shocking meal - chicken that most likely been reheated multiple times and burnt.

Half the usual serving of any other Spudbar store I’ve been.

Staff member didn’t provide utensils or even the take away lid to go on top.

Appears to be a new owner of this particular store. Service has improved greatly while he is present.
The whole place seems much cleaner too.
Hopefully the new owner can do something to turn around it's poor reputation.

Third time come here and closed when website states open staff at back no interest. This shop unfortunately will not be long and will close its doors, so sad to see that the potential is there but wrong staff who don’t care! Really needs a good owner who is present

I've been a customer for years and have often endured the rude, disengaged and grumpy staff with a smile. Yesterday I was made to wait at the front counter whilst the shop attendant was stuffing around in the back for ages. Even though she clearly saw I was first in line, she served someone else ahead of me when she finally appeared. Never coming back.

Always advise to be open but the workers don’t want to serve you and say it’s closed while they stand behind the counter talking and eating! Every other store is still open at 7pm on a Friday! So frustrating! Wouldn’t leave a review but this has happened on 3 or 4 occasions and I’m sick to death of it!

Very different from the picture & recipe.
I ordered the pulled pork, find the pork in my dish
It didn’t taste good too.
I would accept this quality for $7 not 14.90

I just want to say.that’s a REALLY small portion for a meal cost almost $15, which looks very different from the pictures they advertised. I guess that’s called dream vs.reality. I would definitely give a thumb up if they give more food but less sauce next time.
