Springers Leisure Centre reviews
40We’ve already called to check our booking one day before, but they changed the time, all of us just need to wait here. And this is not the first time.
Nice atmosphere. No hot food available after 5pm.lots of room available for function hire.
Excellent facilities be it indoors or outdoors, kids just love it and it's a great place for parents to hang around too with bbq facilities that protect from any harsh any weather.
Springers is located within a large park complex. I've been here a few times for events. It's large with various sports and practice venues all under the same roof. On site café, sports injury specialists, smaller rooms for meetings, trade shows etc.
There is an adjacent car park which accommodates hundreds of vehicles.
Went to the month market.
It was great.very busy.lots of hand made items to look at.
I recently had the pleasure of hosting a party at the Red Room in Springers Leisure Centre, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The rates for hiring the room were surprisingly affordable, which made the decision to choose this venue even easier.
One of the standout features of the Red Room is its impressive sound system. As we all know, music is an essential element of any party, and the sound system delivered an exceptional audio experience throughout the event. It truly enhanced the overall ambiance and added to the enjoyment of all attendees.
Another notable advantage of this venue is the ample parking space available. It alleviated any concerns about parking availability for our guests, making their arrival and departure hassle-free. The convenience of a spacious parking area certainly contributed to the overall positive experience.
Additionally, the abundance of changing rooms was a significant plus. It ensured that our guests had sufficient privacy and comfort when preparing for the festivities. The availability of multiple changing rooms catered to the needs of all attendees, allowing them to freshen up and prepare for the event without any inconvenience.
While the Red Room at Springers Leisure Centre offers many commendable features, it is worth mentioning one aspect that could be improved. The venue charges a flat rate for kitchen hire, which may not suit everyone's needs. An hourly rate option would provide greater flexibility for those who require the kitchen facilities for a shorter duration. Nonetheless, this minor setback does not overshadow the overall positive experience offered by the Red Room.
In conclusion, I highly recommend the Red Room at Springers Leisure Centre for hosting events. The affordability of the rates, coupled with the outstanding sound system, ample parking space, and numerous changing rooms, make it an ideal choice for a variety of occasions. While the flat rate for kitchen hire may be a small inconvenience, it does not diminish the overall quality of the experience. I look forward to organizing future events at this exceptional venue.
Great sporting centre, I played indoor netball years ago.now we do hip hop step classes on a Monday night! It's always a tidy centre both inside and out.nice local venue.
I’ve been here a few times for Diwali events and they are well organised. There are good parking spaces to cater for large crowds.
As a driver community elderly group I find it such a good place for older people meet socially or exercising for good health, and It's easy accessible.
Play volleyball here on a Sunday avo, great place refs are super chill and fair. Courts are very well maintained.
This leisure centre offers a variety of sporting activities with a cute little cafe. The surrounding grounds are also worth exploring.
Has been there nearly twice this time for a covid test as it is one of the site and in the centre it would had been a long time since went in there so I can't say much beside had a court to play basketball and badminton court.above all it was okay.
Keep calm place. Good for a picknic and stay cool. And there are beautiful walking path between trees full area. Also if you wanna play there are sevetal grounds in same location. Easy access, lot of parking lots, public toilets and facilities etc.simply beautiful place with nature.
The leisure centre itself is great. We went because my son had a futsal tournament. They had a Covid testing area outside which took up a lot of the car parks. But it was really muddy. They need to fix that outside area.
Aggressive and racist umpires. Didn't let a Muslim player play social netball because she needed to wear a long sleeve shirt and pants. Staff were extremely rude once confronted. Highly doubt with this behaviour they'll be open much longer.
The SATA hard drive and copy of Windows 10 that I purchased from the computer swap meet at this Leasure Centre will hopefully work in my computer that I'm hoping to sell
Attended when this was a lovely drive through testing centre. Evidently it was quite popular!
Can't say much about the facility, however as it was used to help prevent a pandemic, it must be a good place. I'll be back when things are less nuts.
Large facility for sports groups with friendly staff.showers, toilets, change rooms, meeting areas too.
This place has adequate indoor and outdoor facilities for friendly games/activities or a competition/tournaments.
Worth the $$$.
I loved the place overall. We had gone for Indian festival (Garabha) dance. Not sure avout the facilities there.
