Day of appointment. NO we want you to go for a CT scan.
We aren't giving you a cortisone injection that will be 280+ dollars thanks

My experience with the staff and Dr Bloom have been nothing short of exemplary. They were accommodating of my different circumstances and fit a treatment around my needs, which elicited a wonderful outcome.

Terrific service by the medical (Dr Philip Bloom) and allied health team (Tristan King). After suffering from chronic left elbow pain / tendonitis for several years, I recently played my first round of golf thanks to your incredible care. Highly recommend.

I had a very disappointing experience here. I went in (my own referral) for an initial assessment and diagnosis of a recurring hamstring strain. After my initial consultation ($270) lasting 10 minutes with limited analysis, I was sent for a scan ($380) that was later followed by another 5 minute
($150) consultation- only to be told by the Dr that my injury was broad and complex, and I could go home and do some strength conditioning work with 3-4 months rest from sport. I then had to practically beg the Dr to write out my scan assessment notes, and really had to push him for any recommendations on what I could do to assist my injury. He said “go and see your physio for his advice”. What an absolute waste of my time and money. I was left with no formal assessment of diagnosis or direction for my injury, and only terrible bed side manner. I’d suggest rethinking this clinic if you have a similar injury or not a professional athlete, they don’t seem to want to assist or rehab the common folk.

Great support form Tristan to help with my achillies issue, keeping me on track with my rehab and in general offering insight to how i can recover long term, back up and running now after 12 mths! Thanks mate much appreciated.

Came to James with bad hip and lower back pain (which I had for around 2-3 years). After a 6 week program I have my full range of motion back and I can actually run again.

Highly recommend! The friendly admin staff and professionalism of the sport doctors make for a fantastic service. After seeing Tristan for physio work I would never go anywhere else.

I'm sure this place is fantastic for sports medicine based on the other reviews, but DO NOT go here for your aviation medical certificate renewal. The doctor clearly had very little experience. He wasted my time with a pointless second appointment and neglected to send my test results to CASA, meaning I had to chase it up myself when my new certificate didn't arrive. Definitely not worth your time and money.

Unbelievable service from Sam as first contact by phone to Steven Gilchrist and the Admin team. I had no doubt of the professionalism with this team when I walked in and when I left. I knew what I needed to do and what would follow-up after the appointment. Incredible service.

The staff and facilities at sportsmed biologic are amazing, I saw James De Leijer who worked with me extensively to retrain my body and overcome a chronic knee injury. I'm now injury free and back enjoying sport, couldn't have asked for better service, thanks to James and the whole team.
