Difficult place to find
Not impressed heaps of stock and brands but I could find the right fit runners for my feet

Good range, well price. Member discounts. Service is good. Recently bought a pair of kids footy boots.

We bought 2 pairs of runners at Sportsmart Preston today. We were given fantastic service, knowledgeable, friendly and good prices. The only reason I did not give the store a 5 was location, it’s so hard to see from the road, lots of parking, but you’d never know it was there, they need more signage. A shame I can’t see how they can survive tucked away behind JB hi fi!

Corey P is a gun. Wanted to replace my worn-out Asics and he had all the answers on the technology and durability of the Kayano range. Great customer service and a very friendly chap. As a bonus, ask him to show you how he pulls out the last shoebox in the pile.

Have been to sportsmart when they were in Northcaote wanting to support them after they moved, went in today at there new location and the service was terrible and went somewhere else to buy my sporting goods, not to even be acknowledged is a disgrace, pick up your service sportsmart, I will give you another shot at my business in the future.

Great service, club membership gives huge savings. The new location is a dream for parking and huge openness of the store.

My wife and I have been coming to Sportsmart for 10 years now and have always found the staff to be friendly and knowledgable over the years. We went to the new Preston store for the first time the other day to purchase a basketball system and had the displeasure of being served by Corey. Not only did he keep talking over the top of us, he was extremely rude and condescending to my wife whenever she asked questions. I don't usually write reviews but I found the whole interaction very unprofessional and not at all what we've come to expect from the staff over the years. Sad to see that the high quality customer service at Northcote has not been transferred to Preston.

I bought a pair of sneakers from Sportsmart and was so happy with the customer service! Amy was so helpful.and patient! I must have tried at least 10 different styles, different sizes too, and she stuck with me and was a great help!

Sold me a defective item and tried to bully me into keeping it. Did get the refund eventually but it was not a good experience.

Their after service is totally joke
Will never buy from them ever again
Had a treadmill problem after purchase in just a month time from Northcote shop and they told me to ring the Brand distributor myself to solve the issue.
Ridiculous after sale service indeed!
Sent an email regarding the issue and let us see how long before I can get the help I need.

You want great customer service during a lockdown, then Sportsmart is the place to go! Extremely fast shipping and they actually listen to any request you may have! I wasn’t able to celebrate this year my nephews birthday with him and Sportsmart was a legend! They typed out and printed my birthday message to my nephew and placed it inside the shoe box! Even though I ordered the wrong size, exchanging them was super easy and stress free! You won’t go wrong coming here for your shoes or your children’s shoes.

Large store, very friendly staff. Become a member for lower prices. Only complaint is that for a large store they could have a larger selection to offer.

Was told to leave the store because they had 2 minutes til opening time. Shocking customer service. Plenty of other stores to buy sporting goods from. Staff need training stat.

My brother and I picked up a pair of Asics Gayanos served by the competent manager. She knew what we needed and gave us a pleasant experience

All your sporting needs.
Store could do with a spruce up. A bit old and tired looking but if you up for bargains then this should not dissaude you.

Not flashy store does need a upgrade in places
But have variety and are willing to haggle to get your business
Always walk out happy with purchase.

Really helpful staff. They didn’t have the quantity of stock I needed for our club on hand, but got it sorted through another store for the following day.

Wow. I never write reviews but on Saturday we came in looking for a new basketball ring and ball. Although the ball was a little pricey it is very well made and not one of those cheep rip offs. Then we went on too look for the ring. Although I didn’t get names one young man came over and gave us some great advice however we couldn’t get it on Saturday there were only two left so he aloud us to buy it and pick it up today. He even aloud us too park at the back so it would be easy too load. Then another two guys who were very nice helped us load it. From my experiences there the staff are helpful and well trained.
