Rude lifeguard. Has no idea how to speak to people.
Singled my family out and kept picking on us. Asked to speak to a supervisor however another worker had come to speak to me and not the supervisor.

Been visiting this place for 3 years now. Mostly use the pool and the spa. It's well maintained, very friendly and responsible staff. It gets busy at times (specifically during the school term breaks) due to the population ratio being the only available pool in the surroundings. The wait time for swim classes for my 9 year old is about 2 years. All that said, I love this place, it helps the fitness regime.

I met Andrew for the first time today, he was working in the kiosks. What an absolutely beautiful young man. He was polite to every single customer, he was just so sweet. It was so nice to see such a young man with fantastic customer service skills. Keep up the great work Andrew, you are a real treasure to your workplace.

Great time out here with the family. Hopefully lockdown ends soon so we can go back here.

Good clean facilities. Friendly staff

My experience at this splash center has been an absolute nightmare from day one! With bad communication between staff and their managers which is shown by all the different things I have been told. Also through lockdown and these difficulties times I have gotten no understanding or niceness but only attitude. Not only this but I have been patient through out, going in myself to ask about it, calling days after a promised call from them. Ect. I told them how I haven't revieced any good customer service and I got hung up on. I just tried cancelling as well and I got hung up on. Highly DO NOT recommend this place I would give them 0 stars if possible.

It’s new and well laid out. There’s some great gym equipment with outdoor area to train as well as indoor. The trainers not only do a program up for you, but they also can now do a body composition so you know where you have more fat and muscle. This then helps know what you need to work on and what’s best for you.
There’s lockers available in the gym for use. You do have to wipe down your equipment each time before and after use with the sanitizer available.

The pool area has different pools. For people wanting to use the hydro pool, it’s separate to the other pools and has glass walls around it to keep the warmth in. The temperature of the pools are very good, not like some others that I have been to.

Showers, change rooms etc are all provided.

There’s a nice cafeteria with a book exchange and the food looks really good.

There’s also many other services available including physio, massage, group classes and more.

The membership fees I find are better then the last council aquatic centre that I went to. Also parking is good and outside is a park that looks great for walking. Splash also has a slide that as I understand, works during summer.

If you live in the Hume area especially, give them a go, there’s also others in the Hume area that you can attend with your membership.

Check them out on the internet.

The gym is like a child care centre. It's definitely not for the hard trainer. The staff aren't friendly, very new to the industry. There is an outdoor training area with a boxing bag, it's great if you want everyone on the treadmills just staring out the windows at you.

The heated pool and sauna has the same old jokers everyday, Iraqi and middle eastern men babbling on. Being in the sauna is unbearable even with no talking signs posted.

Do not enter if female and in a bikini.

First time went there last week and all of us liked it. Place is kept warm Nd warm.water as well. Receptionist Lynda is very nice and polite. She explained really well. She is very friendly and helpful. Although shower rooms do need a bit of frequent cleaning as they tend to get dirty with many people.

I am visiting my mum in the area and I decided to go to the hydro pool with her and a friend. We were very disappointed as the hydro pool and spa was very cold. The Jets are not the best it didn't help.my back like most spas do. Also my friend who is a larger women went into a change room designed for two. Most of her time showering and changing was interrupted by a lady damamdong her to hurry up. Then the lady told her off for taking too long. She was not in there for long time. Don't think I will go back to splash any time soon.

Why does it take so long for shower spa baths and other handiwork take so long to be fixed. Subscription gets taken out of our accounts weather we go or not.

It is the best leisure centre in the area. Well maintained, nice & clean pools. The slides are super fun and free dor for kids on their birthdays. Parking not easy to find as it gets pretty busy during popular class times after school.

Very well managed Acquatic centre and great staff attitude especially swimming Trainers. But, casual rates for Gym are ridiculous and can be made competitive.

The gym is always packed, and due to covid 19 restrictions, gym has been limited to 90 people. This gym needs an extension as it cannot cope with the amount of members that there are. And possibly a womens only section as well, there is plenty of space that council owns where this leisure centre is located, so renovations for expansion is doable, and it should occur.

The swim centre is nice, with a sauna and spa - it's also quite spacious. But the gym needs work please.

It is a great place, good customer services. But, I think rules of wearing mask, towel, and such stuff should apply to members.

Fantastic place. So reasonable. Food is also reasonable. Lots of different areas for children to play in. The life guards do a great job.

My first review of Splash Aqua Park and Leisure Centre was written soon after the new centre opened and then updated periodically, with last update in March 2021. Now I am summarising the main points and adding some new observations.
GOOD:
nice 50m pool, comfortable sitting area, cafeteria, shop, fitness programs, wellness centre, close to shopping centre, convenient for students and teens (very welcome option from 12yo) and very convenient for seniors.
BAD:
STILL no hairdryers and no power points in men's shower areas;
brainless design of showers’ heads (one has to be almost attached to the wall, especially tall people) ;
the shower water stream (50 m pool) is barely sufficient and it halves or less whenever someone is using another shower.no separate 50m pool and kids' areas (can be noisy and crowded) ;
STILL dangerous rocks filling of spaces (parking) ;
gym is nice but it would need more machines of certain kind (only one for abs!) ;
STILL frequent failure of Internet connection (cardio equipment often with no TV or news online) ;
parking is insufficient during school holidays (not less than 3 months a year.) ;
Thanks to bad designers and/or bad builders, a wrongly designed floor keeps a large puddle forever in front of the giant splashing bucket.
VERY BAD:
Still no early entrance on weekends (WHY? On weekends the pool area is usually overcrowded with kids, so it would make sense to have at least a 6: 30 or 7: 00) ; and early closing time on weekends too! Really? Just when people have more time you close the pool? !?
STILL no "no-underwear" policy (unhygienic) ;
hot tub mistakenly built with the same pool's max temperature (Hume Council: please find who has been responsible for this mess, and if it was you, then admit you were and spend the money to fix it.) ;
STILL no hotter water in the hot tub.
Pool lockers are too narrow and gym lockers not deep enough for an average sport bag. Still shelves often missing.
Poor maintenance of tabs and very poor cleaning and maintenace of lockers. Many locks STILL not working, the same ones, month after month.
SUGGESTIONS:
1.what about wall hairdryers? What’s good in trying to keep healthy swimming or doing hydrotherapy and then catch a cold or worse freezing your head in the winter's outside cold wind?
2.
Close a week and fix the hot tub, the wrongly designed floor, the ridiculous shower heads and the pressure and quantity of the water flow.
4.
Plan dividing the space and create separate (although connected) swimming and kids’ leisure spaces, just like it has been already wisely done for the Warm Water Pool, which is completely enclosed.
SERIOUS ISSUES TO BE IMPROVED (already signalled) :
replace the rock fillings in the parking with other less dangerous material!
GENERAL COMMENTS.
Splash Leisure Centre is a very pleasant place and delivers what it is built for, but some engineers, architects and contractors must probably go back and study again how to do their homework. And THAT is really alarming and not acceptable, in particular for a structure built with tax payers' money.
All considered, it does not seem that mixing swimming and kids’ ponds and splash features is a good idea. The often overcrowded and noisy environment should suggest to Councils that although if might seem brilliant (and cheaper) creating a water multi-space, Aqua Parks and swimming facilities do not go well together and produce a lose-lose situation.
Members should receive a text in advance for closure of pool lanes for private events and carnivals.
Too many kids, noisy after school hours. Please separate kids' areas from main pool.

First time taking family to Splash. Really nice and friendly staff. Only issue we had was the no photo or video allowed. It would be nice to have photos with our kids in Splash Aqua but otherwise was really good day.
Thank you
