DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Report was misleading in its findings and its interpretation. Obtained a structural property inspection by a qualified Engineer who discounted the findings on Rodney Taylors report.

Asked for quote on Wednesday night. Received quote Thursday and organised the inspection for Friday. Inspection report received the same day on the Friday afternoon. Report is thorough and clear to understand.

Had Rohan from SPI do an inspection on my first home and couldn't be happier. Very detailed inspection and after submitting the report called me up and ran me through every aspect of it and let me know I could call him if I had any more questions. I will be recommending Rohan from SPI to all my mates looking to buy a property.

Was less than impressed with our inspection. The inspector gave us the thumbs up to move in but once we moved in it seemed like we found more and more wrong. For example, one toilet didn't flush, two doors were not closing, both fire alarms were not working, shower was leaking, sink was leaking, plaster work was not up to standard. These were just a few issues we have had since moving in. The inspection seemed rushed on the day and clearly he missed a lot. Unfortunately not worth what we paid.

Paul Jackson from SPI property inspections attended our property to undertake an Owner Builder Defect Report. The process was very straight forward from booking the inspection through to receiving the report. We were absolutely delighted with the report that Greg did for us, both verbally and in the written copy. We were thrilled with how comprehensive and helpful it will be. We will be able to systematically work through the list/great photos and make sure that these items get fixed, not left unnoticed to get worse. Things that unless pointed out by a professional, that we may well not have noticed.

I can't remember the exact words, but it was so nice to hear Greg simply say, "You've got yourselves a lovely home! " He also assured us that what we could see was what we were getting, that there would be no hidden nasties. Put so simply and most reassuring.

Greg really listened to all my concerns, before carrying out the inspection. We were amazed at how he took our concerns about the lack of pool fence/pool safety requirements on board and followed this up with council himself. We are most grateful to him for this.

He also found out as much information as he could concerning the newly built granny flat, on the property. Nothing was too much trouble. Our troubles and concerns really became his! Yes again, I must say, I found this amazing. Yes he would make sure that the taps fitted to the tanks worked, yes he would measure the fridge cavity for us!

Everything was explained well and patiently, and explained again if I didn't understand.

It was then so reassuring to feel confident, in the middle of purchasing the new refrigerator, that he wouldn't mind clarifying something further for me. On ringing Greg he didn't hesitate to explain and also have a few words for me, to the Salesman. We are extremely pleased with the new fridge too, which arrived yesterday.

Yes we are so happy that SPI was recommended to us, and thrilled that it was Greg Blair who did the inspection. We feel most confident to go ahead and purchase the property.

As for the price.yes, very happy again!
