Took a week and a half just to book in my warranty repair. Only did it because i called them to find out when it would be ready. 2 weeks later and apparently they are still waiting on parts. Took my mower back so i can get it repaired somewhere else

One of the very top service companies in Melbourne, after searching for fifteen days to have a puncture in my Mobility Scooter repaired. Severn days of searching resulted in purchasing of two new inner tubes ($70) and a fitting. Result tyre still flat then more searching with a tip off that a mower repairer may be able to help. Quick search of the internet resulted in the best old time service by SPEDIE while I waited, a happy cheerful young man for a price I could not believe (price was too cheap at todays pricing) and completed the job in fast time.

Regarding the reaction of the owner to my review, I am afraid he completely misunderstood both contents and tone of it. My review intended in fact to be a rather positive one, and in fact the store should deserve four stars at least. The reason why it did not, is actually related to the issues of often having to deal with this gentleman, and not only for his very heavy accent, which complicates communication, especially over the phone, but also because the management of the shop is conducted according to a weird mix between his very helpful and competent mechanics, and himself, with the result that they often do not know what he said, and vice-versa. I think he should give more managerial responsibilities to one of them, and only supervise, without entering in the day-to day running of the activities. This would also imply paying his staff more, which is something they would deserve.
And about his enraged tone, it shows not only that he has not understood (once again!), but also that he is not able to run a business without insulting his own customers, instead of thanking for the time and the effort spent reviewing his shop and contributing in the end to its improvement. Anyway, my review still stands, and here it is:

The young mechanics who take care of all services and repairs are kind and helpful, especially one. The owner has unfortunately a heavy accent and it is sometimes difficult to understand what it says over the phone. You can park in front of the main entrance to load and unload but it's a non-stop zone because on the corner, so not ideal. But a parking is in the back, at about 100 m.

Ordered a Honda mower and got stock ready the very next day. Efficient communication and boss is friendly. Recommend to everyone.

The sales staff have very professional chainsaw knowledge and answer my questions very patiently. I bought a Husqvarna ‘ T525 chainsaw and 450E chainsaw from “Speedie Mower Service” and very satisfied for purchase!

Absolutely rude and unprofessional! Would not even look at simple fix on a chainsaw another mower shop fixed in 2 minutes flat at no charge. This shop was an institution in Glenroy, always professional! New owners / staff need to review how they treat customers, if they continue as they are they won’t have any customers! I won’t be back for sure!

The shop has plenty part and diffrent variety mowers and snipers, also great customer service thank you soo much.
