Specsavers Optometrists & Audiology - Doncaster

It is always an absolute pleasure dealing with Specsavers at the Doncaster store. The staff are very friendly from the floor staff to the optometrists. Could not recommend them more highly.
They definitely set the standard in customer service.

Was skeptical about getting glasses from Specsavers but was served by a lovely customer service representative (Lauren) and felt very happy with the purchase I made.

I am saddened to learn that Khai Lam, an optometrist, has been transferred to this store (in Keysborough, Melbourne).
He is the rudest, most arrogant, dismissive, little man I have ever had the misfortune to had a consultation with.
Whatever you do, ask for another optometrist.
With so many to choose from, why risk it?
They are your eyes, and it’s your money.
Choose better.
I saw him at another store.
I have warned friends who may go to this store.
Consider another job, Khai Lam, one that doesn’t deal with people.maybe just objects

Very helpful staff. Thorough in eye testing. I appreciated the assistance with frame selection. I have a small face so most frames look huge on my face. Happy to say I found some that fit well. And staff took time and care with final fitting at the time of collecting my new glasses. Great experience. Thank you.

My initial app had to be changed the shop was very busy and no one at the front door to greet me. The treatment room was to small for my wheelchair. I would like to offer some disability sweetness

Amazing service. Went in to adjust one of my eyeglasses and repair another where the screw came out. They were very busy but still provided great friendly service and very fast

I was served by Kyan to acquire a replacement pair of glasses after mine broke. He was incredibly helpful in facilitating the warranty details. I was then served by Morgan some weeks later after the glasses arrived and he was incredibly thoughtful in his service and ensured I had no other issues before leaving

Sat on my glasses and went to Doncaster and was helped by Aaron - he was excellent and my glasses were repaired and returned in 15 minutes - thank you Aaron much appreciated

Refused to make simple repair on their obviously poor quality glasses. Disappointing customer service in store today.

I found my experiences at this store very good. The service was excellent, well organised and.all ran to schedule. The help with deciding on frames was great and Sharon was a pleasure to deal with and I can’t thank her enough.

I have been back to the Doncaster Store 5 times and each time the glasses have been wrong. I eventually gave up and when to an independent optometrist to fix the problem. Apparently SpecSavers failed to notice I have a stigma in my left eye, so the glasses were never going to be right. I really would like my money back and cancel but I know this probably won't happen.

I had my eye tests by Lulu Hoang the optometrist who was very thorough, helpful because one of my eyes was much weaker than the other. I also had my glasses fit perfectly thanks to the correct measurements of my eye dimensions etc.from Kysie. Many thanks to Kysie.

Bought 2 pairs of glasses today. Very good service. However, the invoice came to $249 when there’s an advertised sale of 2 for $199. The lenses aren’t fancy either. No special coatings etc. I’m left wondering why as nothing was explained to me regarding the price.

Update: they called me back saying there was an error with the pricing and will refund the difference when I pick up my glasses. Thanks SpecSavers

Came in today to get a repair done at the end of the day on my glasses and was served by Morgan. He was super helpful and friendly and managed to get it done really quick despite dealing with other customers at the same time. Very impressed by his customer service skills!
