Specsavers Optometrists - Moonee Ponds

I had such a pleasant experience with Dr Jason Dinh who did my regular eye check yesterday that I felt moved to make this review. Jason was warm and friendly and took his time to explain what was going on to me and answered all my questions with such patience and positivity. I've been to so many optometrists and he was the best! The tech and other customer service staff were also great. Thanks Specsavers Moonee Ponds!

I went for hearing and eye tests. The staff here are lovely, very professional, helpful, friendly and open. I was able to choose from attractive frames which were very affordable. These were available for me to pick up within quite a short period. When I picked up my glasses, a staff member checked and adjusted them for me. I would highly recommend Specsavers to everyone.

Excellent service from both Olivia and Zoe G. Everything from the test to picking out the glasses was quick and easy.
It was great to have someone help me pick out frames as well, enjoyed it very much.

Neglectful admin team, uncaring and unhelpful optometrist.

I've been a long-term customer of Specsavers and have visited a few different stores. My experience with the Moonee Ponds store has been disappointing and literally painful, to the point that I will likely never visit any Specsavers ever again.

During an appointment earlier this year, I was attended by an optometrist at Specsavers Moonee Ponds who was not nearly as thorough and helpful as most Specsavers optometrists are. The only good thing this optometrist did is that they referred me to a REAL doctor who would actually care about me.

I waited for weeks upon weeks, suffering the consequences of an uncaring, unprofessional, incompetent, and unhelpful Specsavers optometrist. The amount of traumatic pain in my eyes to the point that they became red all over and the mental stress it brought was horrifying. I can't put into words the magnitude of anxiety this brought me. All this happened because the Specsavers Moonee Ponds team could not possibly care less about me.

After weeks of pain and suffering, I got to know that the Specsavers Moonee Ponds team had not even sent my referral to the Ophthalmologist! It took one of Directors to have a call with me to even get the referral through. Not sure if this neglect was from the optometrist or their admin team, but this happened. And it was painful beyond words!

Never again.

I had a very positive contact lenses teach and trial appointment with Kelly. She was so kind and re-assuring. Also great to get free trial contact lenses:)

Rung Moonee Ponds branch repeatedly, 3 times today. Very rare to get call answered. Times out after 2 minutes.

My husband and I purchased glasses from MP specsavers. I love how Sima is always providing friendly and kind services and today Yoshi adjusted my glasses made my glasses more comfortable to wear. Strongly recommend this place if you are considering get a pair of glasses with full of lovely services.

Great experience today with Optometrist Frank and Manager Chloe. Best I've been looked after in a store for a while, nice one!

They can not do enough for you - today I left an old pair of reading glasses that I had list the screw from - just picked them up - No Charge PLUS they were in a brand new carry case.

I had been into the Moonee ponds store a few times after having my eyes tested to try on a few different options. While the staff were friendly they weren't very helpful until I walked in mid week and was assisted by Elle. She was awesome and really suggested appropriate styles that suited my face as well as just being engaging. I was then assisted by Zoe who was also great! I did find that on my other visits the team out front weren't as helpful. I will definitely be asking for Elle or Zoe.

All the staff are wonderful and friendly, especially the ones I dealt with (Minh, Nina, Camilla, Lee). The ophthalmologist is more than an ophthalmologist. He explained a few things to me about the difference between normal and abnormal and about glaucoma. It was the pinnacle of sophistication. Nina was more than wonderful and helped me choose the right tire even though I spent a long time. The whole team is more than perfect. Specsavers Optometrists are very lucky to get that kind of staff.it deserves more than 5 stars for service. I am waiting for my glasses and I hope to be of good quality.all the best for you.

I have been with Specsavers Moonee Ponds since the beginning of my prescription lenses journey. They are amazing with their service, their deals, and the promptness of delivery. Shout out to Elle, Nina, Chloe and Zoe - these ladies have made every experience incredible. On my last visit I got ahead of myself and chose glasses and sunglasses that weren’t right for me, upon returning them they supported my decision to change and gave me extra helpful tips for new glasses as well. No fuss, no stress, and were so kind to me. I will never go anywhere else! The optometrists are wonderful too, and have been above and beyond in helping me trial contact lenses. I feel special and cared for by this store and all of the staff every time I go in, and I mean every time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this store for all optometry needs. THANK YOU SPECSAVERS MP! Be back soon!
