Specsavers Optometrists - Prahran - Pran Central S/C

A well oiled machine. Ultra smooth experience from booking my appointment to reception on the day, the consultation with the optometrist and staff who completed my new lenses order. Absolutely delightful people to deal with, extremely professional and courteous.
I wanted new prescription lenses fitted into my old beloved Ray Ban frames. Not only did the NOT try to talk me out of my preferred option and sell me their frames, but they explained the breakage risks entailed in using old frames and said they would take extra care in fitting the new lenses.
Professional disclosure is an ethical issue that's very important to me.
Full marks to all the staff I dealt with for professionalism and personal courtesy.

Eye exam was good, customer service (sales) not existent. They also need 2 weeks to order new lenses. They charged for the eye exam but didn’t hand me the prescription.

Meriam the Audiologist at Specsavers is brilliant! She made the whole process easy and the result for me has been "life changing". I couldn't recommend her more highly to anyone having hearing issues!

Called up for a consultation regarding possible contact lenses for a trial. Got amazing service and Nathan in particular was brilliant at teaching me how to apply and remove them.

Optometrist Chenhuan (aka Chenchen) at Specsavers Prahran is fantastic - I’ve been seeing her for many years now. Always friendly, provides thorough examinations and takes the time to explain things in “plain English. ” I highly recommend you request to see Chenchen!

Please don't order your items (i.e. Glasses, lenses) from this store. I didn't receive any confirmation for my order that they had been ready at the store. I had to call and check by myself. They didn't even apologies for this. Sales team at the store are beyond rude. They don't smile, not open to help at all. The store was empty and they had all the time to help me if they wanted. Worst customer service ever! So disappointed. Never coming back here.

Should have gone to Specsavers - and I'm glad I did!

Going to Specsavers Prahran to buy my glasses was an extremely positive experience, where the level of service of and care exceeded my expectations.
Not only were the team incredibly helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to ensure my choice in glasses were the right pair and within my budget.
If anyone is looking for quality service and an awesome range of glasses to choose from, I highly recommend going to Specsavers Prahran.

Thorough, professional service from both optometrists and sales staff even on the last day of the year when everyone was trying to get their Health insurance Rebates. They are also unflappable and charming.

Update: Business refuses to get spares: Visited for replacement of a screw that held the nose pad. Was told that SpecSavers did not carry spares and would not send for them. Was send down the street to a “real” spectacle shop: Oscar Wyler

Super efficient and professional eye testing and overall service. Seems that this extends to all staff here, so it appears to be an internal culture. Keep it up! Made my visits hassle-free and I will go here from now on rather than another local Specsavers. Did take a few weeks for the glasses to be ready but that might have been b/c of the holiday period.

This place is running a scam! Please do not use this business. I went here for new prescription glasses and the optometrist (chenhuan jiang) suspected I am at risk for glaucoma. I mentioned to her that i have no family history of glaucoma. She insisted I get second opinion and referred me to a specialist that she knows. It costed me more than $300 out of pocket and I was told my eyes are completely healthy.there was no clear communication that I would have to spend out of my pocket to see a specialist.

Sympathetic Opticians.wow - who would have thought.having failed to get even an eye test in Brighton, despite 4 visits to Southland with lens falling out but failing to fit me the staff here were just so helpfu, l offering full service and Tui did an outstanding job helping me see again!
