Spartan Tyre & Service Centre

I am new to the Sunbury area but I also use to work for a tyre centre. When the time came to get a replacement, I opened maps and looked for the nearest. The first place I went to was Bob Jane. The arrogant fellow who came out to greet me spued a pile and garbage big words at me and said I needed 4 new tyres. At the end of the conversation, prior to leaving, I informed him of the fact that I worked in the industry.
I then came to the guys at Spartan. On top of having a clean operation, their service from the get-go was simply excellent. Every staff member spoke with respect and kindness. But what about the salesmanship? To my delight, the observations and recommendations were spot on. And as you would hope, they gave me a couple of options regarding price. I happily agreed and the car was back in the time frame expected. I have since been back with three of my cars and will continue to do so.

Super friendly and professional. Just called for tyre replacement and got it done within less 2 hours (including driving there for half an hour from work) pricing is good too. Definitely recommend!

Dont bring your car here! I had booked a RWC inspection, which resulted in a list of "issues to be rectified", I regretfully spent $2,500 fixing the said issues in order to complete the RWC.

However, after taking my car to another mechanic to complete Con's list, it left me more dissatisfied and furious with this business. I was advised that bushes that needed to be replaced were actually fine and had no issues, and the mechanic was confused as to why this was even mentioned, considering how large of a job it is to complete.

After spending all this money in order to sell my car, I then had the issue of attempting to call them to book a second inspection over the span of 5 days with multiple phone calls throughout, in which their reply was our phones work (each time I rang, I'd either be on hold until I was hung up on or it would say its out of business hours when it wasnt). Not to mention the employee who completes the RWC was on leave. To finally bringing it in for the 2nd inspection and being told the 14 days has lapsed (when I was given 1 day of the 14 to bring it in) and that I had to pay again for the RWC inspection was pathetic customer service.

I had spoken to VicRoads and they advised me that the mechanic had the opportunity to reopen the case on the online platform to finish the job, he just clearly saw this as another money grabbing opportunity. Don't waste your time and money here.

Was looking for a local place I could go to get my tire done after hitting a screw for the second time in 7 weeks and I rember last year my brother in law told me bout this place so I gave them a go. When I had had my tyre replaced they said there wasn't one in-stock but they could order one in. Wich I said that was fine.sure enough had I the tyer ordered and before the day was finished it was ready to be picked up wich worked out really well. I recommend her and will be coming back to get the other tyres done and a wheel alignment when it's due.

Can't fault these guys. From booking through to completion they are so professional.

The team at Spartan Tyre and Service Centre are amazing! I got a Tyre puncture fixed. It was so quick and simple. They told me it would be finished within 30 minutes and it was done in less time than that! It was also very affordable costing only $38. My car is driving so much smoother now that the puncture has been repaired. Can not recommend this business enough!

I had my Mercedes serviced mostly with Spartan from couple of years. They also had changed the break pads and rotors last year, work they have done is always satisfactory. They keep me updated for the timings and anything needs fixing. There are lot of mechanics in Sunbury but I highly recommend Spartan especially the knowledge they have within their personnel. Courtesy car is also a nice service given by them especially for residents in Sunbury to go back home and come back as soon as car is ready. If the courtesy cars could mention what fuel type it uses as a note inside the car to ensure customers clearly understand the fuel needs to be topped up, will save huge risk of anything bad to the car and ensure no one misses it.

I just sold my vehicle in and was trying to get a road worthy completed, the first two places I phoned, told me “they weren’t taking any new customers”…. A friend of mine recommended trying Spartan. They booked me in next day, completed the road worthy and changed one tyre in the space of a day and a half. On top of this, their customer service was second to none, very friendly, efficient, sent email certificate and phoned as soon as my vehicle was ready for collection. The place was extremely clean and tidy. Highly recommend.

Tried to charge me labor time to remove a spare wheel under the tray for a RWC when it never even needed to come off the tray.was very rude and impatient so I never went ahead with this business.
