Have been to this place a few times to get my nails done and have been happy everytime.
The staff always take their time and are never in a rush to get you done and out the door so they can tend to the next customer.

What a wonderful experience - friendly and knowledgeable, these ladies did a fantastic job. Highly recommended - you won’t be disappointed.

Lisa and the staff at Sparkling Diamond are always so sweet and attentive no matter how busy they are! Great to be able to get a walk in appointment in the cbd.

Had previous gel removed, got a treatment and single colour gel nail. The staff there was not skilled at all, took longer to remove cuticles (and it wasn’t that clean enough), I asked to shorten my nail, but it was ignored, some gel was applied on my skin around my nails so I asked them to remove them (maybe like using a remover), they didn’t understand.

The manager or owner does all the communication with customers and give directions to her staff in Vietnamese (I think) and the staff who is actually doing my nail does not understand English. She did say something, but I could barely understand, and she didn’t understand what I was saying as well.

The result is very poor, I can see some chips and cuticles around my nails already, the length of nail is uneven, manicures are all over on the tip of my fingers.

I don’t think their service worth the money ($56). Not recommended.

Absolutely awful experience the woman had no idea what she was doing, drilled my nail down so much it hurt. Charged for a manicure which was not done, and had absolutely no idea how to do French tip. Someone else had to take over (either manager or owner), and she became annoyed and practically ripped of the covering on my toes. Definitely NOT worth the almost $400 we spent there, as not only a bad experience
but also as my nails all chipped the day after. Better to stay away from this one. There are many others in Melbourne who do a better job.

Avoid this place. I've come here a few times and every time I have felt disappointed and quite ripped off in terms of the pricing. All my SNS manicures have been upwards of $75. If you don't "bank transfer" then you will cop additional fees for the eftpos machine.
I thought I would give this place another chance last week and paid $81 for SNS French tips. Within a few days, the nails were coming loose from the nail beds and within ONE week my pinkie nail came off. I went back yesterday to ask if they could fix this one nail and was told in a rude manner that it was "not their responsibility" and that it would cost $10 to fix. I had no other option but to pay to fix it. However, this morning a second nail has now fallen off. Clearly this is an issue with the application of the nails and it is quite ridiculous that you will not accept responsibility for this. A manicure should last a lot longer then a week, particularly one that has now cost $91. To make things worse, when I was getting them done, the lady spent most of the service telling me how terrible my previous nail application was (perhaps this is a way for them to feel that they are justifying their high prices). However, it was quite ironic for the lady to criticise my previous nail application, considering those nails lasted for over a month.

I got a mani & pedi with shellac and chrome. Loved the service, nails turned out perfect, plus communication was great. Thanks, girls!

I have been doing gel pedicure for 8 years and it was the first time I visited this shop. They were friendly and nice but the job they had done, I wouldn’t recommend. The color I ask is different with the outcome as I used to do the color I picked. The details not worth the money at all.

The ladies here are absolutely amazing. I've gone to many salons now and this is my favourite. They have a lot of pride in their work and I've always left being amazed at the quality of their work. Thank you very much? I'm only not posting a photo because my photography skills are rubbish and I do not want to so them a disservice! See you next time?

I’ve been to this nail saloon for past 3 months and i truly like their service and hospitality. Highly recommended! They always knows what I need and able to recreate the design that I’ve wanted.thank you team and I will definitely continue my visit.

I visit Sparkling diamond every 2 months or so, and I am always greeted with a friendly smile and professionalism. I always get a white shellac pedicure and no matter which one of the girls does it, it’s always perfect! I’ve recommended this nail salon to all my friends and family.

Kind and welcoming staff who treated us to a lovely experience as walk-ins and left us with beautiful Mani pedis for a very reasonable price. Will definitely be returning

Staff were nice. But they charged so much and under-deliver. I was quoted 100$ for sparkly black french acrylic on my real nails! Even sns was 70$ on my real nails. When most other salon is 50-65$. Also some cuts on my nails from the tools used. Ive had better nails and for cheaper

I went to get my nails done there as it is really close to my office! First thing is they were in such a hurry! I got SNS done and to say it was painful is an understatement. I showed them the design and the color at least 10 times but it turned out to be something completely different and the owner just wanted the money even when i was telling her, this is not the shape i wanted. Paid $100 bucks but such waste of money! Never going, neither recommending anyone.

They charge me $120 and the girl give me discount so only $110 but still expensive just SNS.and the color I ask is too different with the outcome. Waste of money!

My nail technician was amazing, I showed her a picture of something similar I wanted, with an accent colour and she suggested the perfect nail design for Melbourne Cup. If I was in Melbourne again I would definitely visit again!

Giving 2 stars only because the ladies were really nice. They were really rough. I ended up with a couple of cuts on my heels and was on my tippy toes for 3 days. My shellac started chipping in less than a week. Not what I expect after spending $95 on pedi + shellac mani.

Last week I did a Manicure with a Shellac at this place and to be honest, I was hesitating about doing it there! First of all they don't have a price list, second they are not professional at all as the women who did the manicure kept cutting the edges of my nails skin not the cuticles! Plus the Shellac I've done didn't last 3 days before it started to peel off! Normally a Shellac will last for 2wks! As one of the women who were doing my nails decided to sharpening my nails after adding the colour! I never saw a nail salon do that, except this one! This move leads the colour to peel off two days after! Btw I paid 50$ for this service!
