We love having Spade to Blade cater weddings at our venue, super professional, delicious food and friendly staff!

We recently had an event catered. We chose the drop off option. It was far beyond what we expected, everyone was impressed. The request was for a completely vegan and gluten free menu. There were so many dishes provided that it fed us for the whole weekend. The quality was incredible, everyone kept talking about it. Thank you Spade to Blade!

Spade to Blade catered our wedding and were absolutely fantastic. Guests told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had and the staff were so friendly and relaxed.

Gary was such a lovely helpful person in the lead up to our wedding lunch, not only did he go above and beyond to help with the small details of organising the logistics of our lunch, but his food was amazing and loved by all on the day.
His staff were extremely helpful and happy on the day and made our guests feel very looked after.
All tricky dietary requirements were met and the food was fresh and sourced locally which we loved.
Would highly recommend Gary and his team for any function if you're a bit of a foodie and after something a bit more special than your average catered event.

It is the day after our wedding, but our experience with spade to blade was so fantastic I just have to write this review today!
First of all, Gary is a legend! So knowledgeable and helpful about all things events, and so patient with us while we planned our big day.
Second of all - what wonderful staff! They worked so hard all day, big smiles on their faces the whole time. Thank you team for being awesome.
But most of all - oh. My. God. The food! We had so many guests commenting on how delicious our banquet style lunch was. Not gonna lie, I was kind of intending to just have a bit of salad so I didn’t feel too full in my dress. Well, one bite of the food and that was out of the question! I went back for seconds!

Thank you spade to blade - we’re so glad we chose you to cater our wedding and we would 10/10 recommend anyone looking for a caterer yo pick these guys!

We were thrilled with the catering from Gary and his team. We had specific dietary needs and he was extremely accommodating. The staff member that we had during the event was lovely. The food was hot and ready to be plated. Even though not all our guests were vegetarian, they all thoroughly enjoyed the food. My husband and I are very pleased with everything. I would definitely recommend Spade to Blade for your catering needs!

Could not rate the experience or the quality of the food highly enough. Gary had looked after us so well, from the first email, right through to delivery of the food.and I have to say, it was incredible.

The portions were generous and the food was to die for and everything exceeded our expectation. It absolutely lifted our event. We would have no hesitations in recommending Spade to Blade, to anyone looking for excellent catering.

Seriously be prepared to be hungry your eyes will be filled first with an amazing feast presented and soon after your tummy will be left yelling the feast was even to much for me

The service is friendly and the food is delightful. There's something extra satisfying knowing that the ingredients are locally sourced and the menu is adjusted depending on the availability of local produce. What a treat.

Having said that, some more training on the coffee machine would not go unnoticed. If I get the opportunity to dine again, I'll go with one of their smoothies. My partner had one and it was delicious.

We had Spade to Blade cater our wedding and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Not only was the food of exceptionally high quality, they are also very easy people to work with. We sent them through some examples of dishes from their website as an indication of what we thought looked nice, and from there they worked with what was in season to put us together a truly incredible spread of finger food and main dishes.

We were very impressed with their professionalism and punctuality as well. When you’re getting married, you need businesses that can be relied upon and Spade to Blade are very much such a business.

I ate here for the first time on Wednesday and it was so good I was back again on Thursday! There’s art on the walls and great music, retro furniture and shelves and cupboards filled with house made preserves for sale. And the food. THE FOOD! You can taste the love. Wholesome, healthy, made from high quality local produce and their house made pickles and chutneys are woven through it all. Opposite the old railway station where the Sunday market is, parking is easy (if you’re not there on market day) and they’re open til 6pm most days with a selection of ready made stuff or made to order daily specials all depending on what’s fresh in season. I highly recommend the dorper lamb sausage roll and walnut and honey slice.and I haven’t managed to try one yet but their bee stings are the stuff of such local legend that they always sell out (they’re made on Sundays). Unique, delicious, honest salt-of-the-earth stuff and my new favourite place, I’m hooked!

Spade to blade is.different in a nice way. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. I would recommend it.

Good local coffee shop. My wife and I popped in before the markets on a Sunday for a coffee and it was great.

Gary and his team did the catering for our wedding in March. They were absolutely amazing! Food was delicious and we’ve heard nothing but positive reviews from all our guests. Every request or question we had for Gary was no problem and he filled us with a sense of ease which is what you want on your wedding day. Highly recommend the team at spade to blade.
