Sow And Piglets Brewery reviews
44Cute lil brewery, with comfy areas to sit.the tasting platter was insisted on which beers were to be poured, we had others in mind from the menu so paid an additional $2 for the one we really wanted.didnt stay but it looks like its be nice.
Great spot, great beer.
Service was good, rooms tidy showers clean.
Great spot to stay on a motorcycle trip.
Thank you guys.
We came in late from our road trip. Annie waited with closing the bar for us to make the last round, how nice! After having our beer the staff members took us to a local bar where we had a blast.
Can recommend for all backpackers!
If only there was an option for zero stars. We have never ever experienced such blatant rudeness before in our lives. The older lady running the place should not be working in hospitality. She told us loudly in front of the other patrons to eat quickly and get out as we ordered too little for our party, causing great embarrassment. Then she went on to proclaim that they are paying their staff higher Xmas wages to justify her demands. To clarify they are only serving beer and pizza at the time of our visit and our parents and us don’t drink and so could only order the pizza. Thank you grinch for ruining the mood on our Christmas road trip. Avoid this business or at least this particular staff member at all costs! I’m sorry but the owners should fire her. The other young server behind the bar was friendly.
This is different take on a brewery. You don't sit at a dining table or bar table, you can lounge on couches, play board games, and really relax. The place is a such a vibe.
We didn't stay here, just stopped by for a beer and some pizza. Really friendly service. The beer was nice but the pizza was not good at all unfortunately. We tried two and both had a really odd flavour to them, would not recommend the food unfortunately.
Fast, friendly service with really cosy and fun decor, including couches, games and books.
The service was awesome and the beers were great, only one man working but he was able to keep up with everyone. The decor was very cool with different seating options and also fun board games around. Great location being only a few minutes walk from the caravan park too.
Had the beer paddle and all of the beers were fantastic. I'd definitely recommend Sow and Piglets if you are in town!
We had pizzas. Unfortunately, most of us were non-meat (except chicken) eaters, so we ended up having all the vegetarian pizzas (3 choices.pumpkin n feta, margarita, garlic) as they dont serve any chicken ones. Seating facilities are really good for families, and they even offered a lot of board games for kids.
Don’t pass by Port Campbell without stopping here for a couple of their excellent beers. At the time I was there, they would serve two varieties of pale ale, Kölsch, Pilsener, a red beer and even a proper German Hefeweizen.
We had pizza and beer here pizza was prolly frozen stuff that came out of a box and the tiny thing costed $15. Then, a very rude lady who works there came to tell us off for parking our campervan next to the bin. We were not in anyone's way and in fact chose that corner so that we won't be. I needed a bit of hot water for my bottle and checked with the guy manning the bar. He said to just go ahead and get some from the communal kitchen. However, the rude lady with her dog came along and screamed at us saying that we can't do that if we are not staying with them. She also screamed 'why do people always do that? ! '. She stomped off when I tried to tell her I had asked the guy working at the bar.
DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT BE BACK. NO THANK YOU.

Best beer in Australia!
I’m from Canada where craft breweries are everywhere.
Have been in Aussie for 3 months and all beer was mediocre at best. Pulled up to this amazing brewery and the Dunkel and the Hefe were incredible!
Highly recommended
Pretty good beers on tap, the reason for two stars for the food is that there is only pizza, no other choices at all, not even salad. Excellent place to grab a beer or two though.
Food is pre made, but it was okay, the service was really bad tho, they refused to give us plates for the pizza and when we asked for clutery they told us "just go look in the kitchen"
Fantastic place to stay. Amazing range of freshly brewed beers, great staff and can’t go wrong with to location. Highly recommend to locals and tourists alike!
This is an authentically quirky bar with excellent beer and a great atmosphere. Decor is sort of 80s eclectic with plenty of wide and commodious couches instead of nasty little barstools, vintage Australian pub rock playing on a loop, reasonably priced pizza, games available for groups.what's not to like?
Dropped in for the $10 beer tasting.
Helpful staff and very tasty beer.
Worth a visit even for the beer alone. Pizza also available but we skipped as we had previously had lunch.
Would return again when in the area for a few beers and pizza at lunchtime.
Stayed here for 2 nights and I loved it. The place was very clean, decent room sizes and big areas to hang out l, read, play games and enjoy freshly brewed beer on the ground floor. The kitchen is big and well equipped with everything you need. I will be back with a couple of mates next time!
