Souvlaki and Kebab House reviews
47The best sovalakis ever. Served with joyous humour & a welcoming smile. Sad, I discovered this amazing place just as I moved away to Flemington. It won’t stop me driving back for some. Thank you!
Excellent souvlaki the meat was cooked to perfection 3rds time being here and recommend it to anyone
Hey guys loved the Souv, but very disappointed in the Greek salad.all Tomato, Onion, Cucumber and 2 Olives and no feta. Hopefully next time I'm down from Queensland it'll be a lot better. If you don't get told you don't know right. No disrespect just being truthful.
Pricey, and definitely not worth what we're paying for. The meat was undercooked and underwhelming, so were the falafels. Wouldn't go here again. The owners/staff were nice though, wish the food was better.
It's nice to see a business respond to these posts.
The haloumi pita was really bland. It needs a sauce and the haloumi itself, was a little cold and extra rubbery.
For the amount of food you get in a snack pack, it was way over priced. I don't comment on prices lightly, I am well aware of the current food costs. To us, it wasn't very balanced.
The mixed souva was yum and well priced.
Always come here to get yummy gyros, fresh food everytime I have gone and reasonable waiting times. Kind and friendly workers too
Wish they brought back the bigger/crunchy chips from a year ago: (
Daaaaamn. Crispy pressed perfection! Toasted pressed thin Greek wrap, sealed as it crisped together (couldn’t unwrap it so perfectly unmessy), with soft fresh but structurally sound falafel. Tasty LTO salad with red onion. I added jalapeños ($1 I think) for a little extra pop. Vegans—it has tzatziki by default unless you ask, so I swapped to hommus and chilli sauce. Flavour freakin’ explosion. Ugggggh
- Fairly Friendly Falafel Fiend (Facebook)
Price: $14 (inc extras of $1-$2)
Config: Falafel wrap, LTO, minus tzatziki, add hommus and chilli sauce, add jalapeños
Nice halal restaurant.
Mixed gyros was very nice, they have very nice meat here, better than the lamb meat you get at most kebab shops, their chips was also very nice. Hsp was solid also.
It's a little pricey.
Nice seating area and staff
Everywhere I’ve been in Melbourne so far has taken great care of their food. Except this place. I would’ve skipped ordering a combo if I would’ve known my fries would come with a mountain of salt on them. Pretty disappointing as I can’t even eat them. I’m sure THEY wouldn’t even eat them.
Great kebabs!
Stopped by here with the family on the way back from a road trip. Awesome lamb and accompanying seasonings (although could have done with a little less red onion). Good atmosphere in the restaurant, short wait time and friendly staff! Would recommend.
This establishment has the best souvlaki on the spit in the inner North. Recently, there was a mixup in the order (no garlic sauce) and the owner remade me another souvlaki and personally delivered it to my address within 10 minutes. I’d give more stars if I could.
Pretty bloody good. Last 2-3 times however there hasn’t been enough chicken, they’ve skimped a bit. Friendly staff and fast.
Friendly people, good food and fast. It's not gourmet but for what you pay, it's yummy.
I love your food. It was very delicious. Greek souvlaki is the best. You should open this as a restaurant with a menu and more greek food. If you want. You should open this as a restaurant in Oakleigh where all the greek restaurants are. You would do a fantastic job. Not a bad place for greek food. I will definitely order food from you again. You should definitely open this place in Oakleigh.
I thought Lambs was good but these guys are the king's of the North when it comes to a Souvlaki! Lamb was full of flavour, fresh salads and pita too. 5 stars guys, awesome!
Lord God bless these people.first of all. I'm grateful to of eaten at this place from hospitality at its finest to the greatest team work efforts to the best if the best restaurant Hellenic spirit and food, simple and very fast, great manners and I'm speechless, I've said nothing. Thank you. (Ωπου Γιώργος ΜΆΛΑΜΑ.) :) : + (* (*+*) *)
The bread. The meat. The salad. The cleanliness. The friendliness.
It's so yummy! Tender, hot, fresh!
Probably the best gyros and chips I've had so far (not been to Greece yet so there is bias here).
Staff is super friendly and accommodating. You do get what you pay for
Got a mixed kebab with small chips and an aloe drink.
The Kebab was 11/10 great sauce, not over filled was perfect.
Chips where 2/10 they where bright yellow, not very crunchy and very salty.
If they change the chips I'll change my review.
I had a lamb souvlaki take away last night for the first time here. Was the best souvlaki I've had since I was a kid and not over priced at 15. Generous amount of lamb, was tasty and tender and no gristle. Not too salty or greasy, just a good balance of fresh ingredients prepared properly. Would definitely come again.
