Our builder commissioned Southern Timber Floors to install our beautiful Firestreak wood flooring throughout our new home and it looks amazing. I wanted to shout out to Adela for her fantastic service when I called to find out the best way to care and preserve the floor. She was knowledgable, passionate and most helpful. Thank you!

We have recently done a new build, with Southern Timber Floors laying Tassie Driftwood boards. They are the stand out of our coastal build, and are always the first feature that people comment on when they walk through our house. They are fantastic for our three children, two dogs and lots of high traffic visitors through the house. They are easy to clean and very smooth and warming on our feet. Southern Timber Floors installed these beautiful solid timber floors 2 years ago. Sadly due to a water leak from elsewhere in the house the living area was affected and needed replacing. Ben suggested removing the damaged floor and replacing with like. After which the entire floor through the house was sanded and relsealed. You can't tell the difference, it has come up like the whole house has been replaced. Right through this process he was so helpful and considerate of what I was going through and did everything he could to assist the bulider who I used to repair the damage. Together they worked out a plan to assist me and make this process as easy as possible.
Lawrie the floor sander who came and completed the sanding and sealing was also really helpfull and did a terrific job as you can see.
Wahine the dog is happy to be back as am I, and I love my house and appreciate what good hands I was in with Southern Timber Floors.
Use a local who know's his craft and understands and cares about the final result, it was really worth it for me, I can't thank them enough (Ben especially) for all they have done to help my home look new again.

Cannot recommend Southern Timber Floors enough. Very helpful working out the details, very reasonable quote, absolutely amazing quality install and brilliant engineered spotted gum product. Of all the building works done for our renovation, the organisation for and the install of the engineered flooring stands out in so many respects as the best. Don't use anyone else!
