Great food, great venue with a really nice atmosphere surrounded by the golf course.
Lots of trees and vegetation and a small lake, surrounding the stylish and modern single story building. Staff are super friendly and helpful, nothing seems to be too much trouble.
Nice ambiance inside the main function room which apart from the dance floor, bar and floor to ceiling views of the surrounding nature also has a large open fireplace with cosy couches and a REAL log fire, (NOT a fake gas one!)

Really nice course and so peaceful placing there in the evenings. Thanks Southern for having me

What can I say, very exclusive, bright and very beautiful location.
Food is good and service excellent.

My wife and I had our wedding party at SGC we couldn't of been more happy they exceeded all our expectations. Louise and Emily were so lovely and helped to make our special day the best day in our life. Everything to the smallest detail was to absolute perfection and we are forever grateful. Thank you to the whole team working hard all night to make our day so special for us.

Played here as invited guest, Pro Shop staff were very helpful. It is a beautiful course a very very long fairways, tricky green.i enjoyed the back nine comparatively to the first front nine. As a top tier private golf club, it is a well maintained course. Such a beautiful experience playing here

Enjoyable course, played when very wet but considering it held up quite well. Looking forward to playing again in dry conditions!

Such a great venue. Christening and parties. One of our favourites and we have had two christenings there. Great staff and a scenic backdrop to suit. Spacious and easy to get to

Disappointed in the food again. Same chef as last year? I follow a Fodmap diet, but that doesn't mean small meal and tasteless. Even dessert - fruit again? No imagination? Staff were friendly, but not very attentive, you had to call out to three different people to get served. Ex restaurant owner - not good.

Southern is private so its great to get a rare game there. The greens are immaculate. I would say PGA standard. The clubhouse and facilities are first class. Such a great setup.

Just wanted to commend Emily and her team with helping yesterday with a function where they were an amazing help. The room looked amazing and the service was outstanding. Thank you Gary

Absolutely cracking course with fairways better than many greens I have played on at other courses. You certainly need more than a couple of clubs in the bag thanks to the legend course designer - Peter Thompson.

Very nice function center in the clubhouse. Can't speak to the golf course though. Attended a funeral and wake in the clubhouse where the staff were incredibly sensitive to the occasion. Catering was excellent and a good variety provided.

The food was quite tasty and the staff were very attentive. Our function was well catered, however you can hear kitchen noises in the main function room when there is less chatter or someone speaking. Still, the layout is quite nice and clean and cozy.

Great course, fairways and greens in fantastic condition. Members friendly and the teaching professional top ten in Australia.

Attended an event here, had an enjoyable time. Staff were very prompt at distributing meals and alternative meals for people who had dietary needs were great

Havent played there for a long time. It had improved in condition. A few holes with works going on was the only downside. Clubhouse is outstanding. Staff were great.

We're here for the Southern Stars Concert Band end of year fund raiser. A delicious two course meal and great music.

We are visiting from NZ. Lovely course despite green cored recently. Jane at the pro shop looked after us. She was awesome.
