Wouldn't recommend sending an email and getting a reply anytime. Still waiting after a 2nd follow up email, and phone calls.no reply!
Have gone elsewhere, as they obviously don't want the business. So, overall, not good

Customer service a bit average and my canvas product I had installed on my canopy was not what I was hoping for.

We purchased a SCCP roof top bag in 2014. It's been up the VIC high country, across the Simpson, around Fraser and TAS, and up the Telegraph Track to Cape York.

It's never let dust or water in. Even during freeway driving in heavy rain. Or sitting outside in a thunder storm in MacKay last night still dry.

To say I am beyond impressed is an under statement. The workmanship on the bag is impressive. It's a good as new, despite being covered in red dust.

We had a cover made for our BT50 by Nick and the team at SCCP and the quality of our canvas cover and workmanship were excellent and fitted perfectly. I broke a zip (my fault) and contacted Nick and he has sent a replacement no charge. I can't speak highly enough about our experience, end product and after sales service we received from the team at Southern Cross Canvas Products. Regards Robert and Jenny - South West Rocks, NSW.

I brought a tent second hand, called the lady about a small tear in the PVC, she is sending me a repair piece free of charge.

Amazing customer service, this business is fabulous and I will be buying anything I need in the future from them and supporting them generally, moving forward.

Horrible communication. My husband and I left our trailer for a quote and we were told it would take a maximum of 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, we called about it and a woman said they were flat out and she would get back to us in the next couple of days. The week after, we called again. We received the same response. 8 weeks later, my father in law called and a woman told him she didn’t have our trailer. He drove to their location, found our trailer, took photos of it at their site. They apologised and he was told we would get a call about our at the end of the week. We have received no quote. We will be picking our trailer up this week and finding a different company. Based on our experience, you are horrible service providers and we do not recommend you

Extremely disappointed with the customer service we received from this business. We never ended up having work completed because of the poor service, so this review relates to the service, not the product itself.

I emailed the company for a quote on a canvas canopy on 21 March. I didn’t receive a reply, and after 6 days I called to follow up. I was told my email had been archived, and they were unsure why. After the phone call, I received a reply with a quote. I immediately replied asking if we could proceed and get an approximate fitting date. I never received a reply email.

I called them in an attempt to book in a date, and was advised to come into the store to get measured up and proceed from there. We went into the store the following week and was told we would receive a call for a fitting date. I didn’t receive a call.

Over the next two weeks, I was repeatedly told I would receive a call back regarding the work and never did. We called every couple of days to follow up, but when the phone was answered we were told only one particular staff member could help us and she would call us back. We are still waiting for the call.

We understand the business is busy, and if the work is unable to get done that is ok so long as we are given the courtesy of being told. Where we can, we prefer to support Australian businesses, however the service we received was unacceptable. We are going to a different company to get the work done.

Was able to fit me in earlier than expected and did an excellent job on my canopy in a days work. Will be going back there to get my awning done in the future. Cheers mate

Ultimate trekker double ender.
Bought our tent in 2005. Built like a tank, waterproof and will survive extremely strong winds. Can be set up in under 5 minutes. We use ours for 6 weeks at Christmas every year.

I have recently taken delivery of my new Ultimate 10 tent from SCC. Although the tent is yet to be used outside of the yard I can confidently comment on the quality of the product and level of service from SCC. The tent has exceeded my expectations in terms of build quality and the pre and post sales service from SCC was excellent, Nick and Brooke were very helpful during the decision process. The tent was built and delivered well within the quoted timeframe and will no doubt last a lifetime. The old adage is true. You get what you pay for!

Worth the extra cost.

We bought a 2nd hand tent on gumtree. Good tent but small lengths of two seam bindings had perished. Southern cross canvas didn't just fix the perished bits but replaced the whole seam binding. Also repaired broken ties on tent bag. Very impressed with proactivity and work quality even for a tiny job. Thnx.

Had a Ripstop cover made for the under-bow storage area in my tinnie to protect my marine radio, EPIRB and lifejackets. Only a small job but it was fiddly. SCC did a great job and I am extremely happy with the outcome. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thanks to the team at SCC.
