South Yarra Pharmacy reviews
18This is my go to Pharmacy, staff are friendly and the pharmacists are amazing. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Overpriced and horrible customer service, I was treated like a peasant from the lady with short & black hair, what is up with her? Won’t be coming back, worst experience ever, keep your rudeness to yourself lady, unbelievable.
Rude Greek lady here avoid if you can. Walk down the road to chemist warehouse for better service
So friendly and helpful! They used to be open 9-9 now 9am to 7am every day. One of the few who are open later on a Sunday
After moving to the area, I wanted to make this my local pharmacy but I'm sorry - I won't be coming back. The customer service is rude and dismissive, but that was the least of my worries.
What did it for me was this ridiculous chain of events. Leaving my script with the pharmacy for daily medication I require, with the promise that the medication would always be in stock. Coming in to collect it one Saturday, being told it'd arrive Monday - okay. Coming back Monday and being told there was a delay. Calling Tuesday, being told the delay was now until Wednesday - at which point my medication would have run out. Finally came and collected my script that night.
I then had to go to Chemist Warehouse who told me the head pharmacist had only given me half the document - aagh!
Fortunately, they were able to dispense half my medication with a note to this pharmacy, but Chemist Warehouse down the road is where I'll be going from now on. The service is much better.
Overpriced. Bought an over the counter acne product for $32 when I found it at chemist warehouse for only $16 on the same evening. Naturally I brought it back for a refund within the 7 days required. The owner I believe, refused to refund/ exchange or price match the product listing the sealed, unopened product as potentially damaged/ tampered for a reason.he simply walked off when I said it was unreasonable. Fortunately another staff member offered to swap the product! Never buying anything from this store!
24 surgical masks for 50 bucks. Profiting so richly off a pandemic is the lamest thing a business can do
Unreasonably expensive! And average customer service.
I purchased surgical masks here, and after walking a few blocks, found them almost a third of the price in a different store. Then another occasion, purchased some pills and found out they are half price at chemist warehouse! Never going here again. Advice just walk a few blocks further and save your money.
I saw one comment here is about $2 for a mask. I do not think it is wrong. The price may go up but still reasonable.
I went to this place with my girl last week, the staff were friendly.
But I saw someone in store did not maintain social distance, if that happens again, are you going to intervene?
The staff are always lovely! This place is pretty awesome for good and caring customer service, which I greatly appreciate.)
Purchased two single use surgical marks and was shocked to see the price at $7.95 per mask. Price gauging in a time of pandemic is not a good look. I note the review 24 hours ago where your price of $2 per mask was defended.why the price increase? Your high prices will only dissuade people from using personal protective equipment at a time when people are trying to do the right thing.
Forgot to bring a mask and need to go to the bank with my partner. Got 2 single use masks for $5 each, its a total rip off! BAD ethics for both the society and business. Ridiculous
One of the sale assistants older lady with a higher pitch voice is not warm and on a few occasions When I asked her questions she sounded and looked annoyed her overly forced service feels uncomfortable and I won’t come in again when she is there.
The rudest customer service I have experienced. I asked the salesperson whether a product was vegan and she literally pulled a face and rolled her eyes at me and then walked away muttering something rude. Definitely will never visit again or recommend this place to anyone. There is a cosmetic store close by that clearly indicates which products are vegan. May be your pharmacy can learn from it, and you may want to train your staff on basic customer service and politeness.
Prescription products are often double the cost of anywhere else and counter staff do not bother to ask about generic branding. I would absolutely recommend doing your research on prescription pricing before proceeding with purchases at this over-priced business.
The best customer service I have ever had in a pharmacy. Caring, personal, sincere. 5/5 thank you!
The pharmacist was very helpful in guiding us to buy an appropriate mouth ulcers medication. They are open till 8pm which was very handy.
They have good selection of personal hygiene and cosmetics.
It's 15 min walk from kings way in south melbourne.
About twenty minutes after I left I felt myself dribbling with delight.
4BRIX 5 Stars.
