Great experience here - needed to see a Doctor quite urgently on the day after a public holiday. The lovely receptionist (sorry, did not get your name) organised the whole thing efficiently and seamlessly, grasped the seriousness of the situation and arranged an appointment with Dr Benjamin Webb, who was just spot on with management of my concerns - arranged blood tests, ECG, chest X-ray - and called me a few hours later with results advising to visit ED asap. Now in Cabrini being treated for pulmonary embolus. Can not thank him enough for his timely intervention.

Came in yesterday for a blood test, if u are terrified of needles and are prone to fainting like me honestly this is the best place to come they are so lovely here. I didn’t catch the ladies name but she talked me through the whole situation and was very helpful thankyou so much for be so kind and understanding not like other places.

Great staff and Dr McCubbin was very thorough and extremely helpful for my needs. Highly recommend this clinic.

Have been a long term patient of Dr Ben Webb. Am very happy with his knowledge & manner. Would thoroughly recommend him to administer health care

Originally saw a male gp, who left.
I found that I was spoken to rudely more than once by Mirka at reception.

The doctors there don’t want to help out w basic anxiety meds. And will make me go to trouble of finding someone who can “manage” that.

I know doctors who call themselves gps can give you meds for anxiety. Waste my life.

Have been a patient here for almost 6 years now, and the care is always exceptional.
Shame Dr Ben Carison left as he was a fantastic, caring, and knowledgable GP. His patients are lucky wherever he is!
With Dr Carison no longer available, was lucky to have Dr Cindy Holden for this year, and she is hands down the best GP I have ever had. Shame she’s currently only consulting in the pregnancy clinic, her care and expertise will be greatly missed in this time.

South Yarra Medical is the best GP practice in town, and I’m confident the next GP taking over my care will be good too.
NOTE TO SY MEDICAL: Reception and waiting area is clean and welcoming, HOWEVER, the toilets are beyond shocking and in urgent need of renovation. The only thing that detracts from this wonderful place unfortunately, and toilets say a lot about an establishment. Is there any plan to refurbish these facilities?

I have been going to this clinic for the past 3 years. The doctors are very professional and most importantly compassionate and empathetic. I was bale to get a diagnosis with one of the GPs, after not being able to do so with multiple doctors at various clinics for many years.

Receptionists were very switched on, nice & polite. Dr Tim & Tessa are both amazing - amazing "bedside manner" and just very good at theor jobs

Dr Dorothy has been my GP for a year now since my move from GC, with not having a social support structure she has provided me the best medical care I’ve ever received, she continuously has shown me support, authentically caring and she was the first Dr I’ve ever been able to open up to.

Thank you to Dr Dorothy, Dr McCubbin and the SYM Team for handling my jokes, and watch me go from running in late, to how you know me as a patient now.

I cannot express enough gratitude to you all and I don’t think I’ll be able to repay you for what you all have done for me, but I guess this is a start.

This practice is excellent. There's lots of female doctors too and all the doctors who I have had appointments with have been thorough with my ailments. I definitely have never felt rushed. Reception staff are helpful and efficient. Clean, bright, large waiting room with comfortable seats. Easy parking.

I saw Doctor Dorothy Yue today, very professional with a kind and caring personality - Would go back for sure if I lived in Melbourne

Whilst on holiday in South Yarra, I developed tooth abscess and required antibiotics and some pain relief. The staff and doctor at South Yarra Medical were brilliant from start to finish. I got the earliest appointment available and was seen on time by the loveliest, caring doctor. I can't thank them enough.

Dr Tim is very easy going, knowledgeable, and helpful, and the clinic has a great atmosphere, very clean, enough space for people to keep their distance between if they want, totally recommended.

I love it here. Doctors address every single concern and make a plan with you to find a solution/to work on the matter, and take all matters seriously - even a common cold. I can trust I am in good hands no matter who I see (sometimes my regular practitioner is not available and I see someone else if the matter is minor). There is often a wait even if you have booked an appointment, but when it comes to my health, I'll wait knowing they will provide. If you are sick, just know you might have to wait outside, and will be called via phone, and may not be seen physically - to keep everyone else safe. Makes sense to me. I got seen in a isolation room so I was fine with that.
