Great place, unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere. Small but cosy. Live music as well, good people. Had an amazing night.

Only real music venue past Mornington. Open mic has a great family feel and everyone is supportive weather you sing like Dylan or a diva. Kareoke in Thursday is the best way to spend a few hours having a great time. Friday and Saturday night bands are a never ending procession of new and solid bands and no cover charge. It has great staff and honestly is one of the best places to stop for a few hours and get into some quality music. Do yourself a favour and get in there to show your stuff or watch someone else

Great place to grab a beer and a meal. The music is great, and the staff are friendly and always happy to be working there. I have never had a bad night here.

What a great night. We had a work pre xmas dinner there tonight. Food was sensational, it came quickly and the service was brilliant. Then came the karaoke.thankyou sound bar for a wonderful evening

Went for dinner, new menu had started which we were a bit disappointed at first as it was basically all Burger's, Nachos, loaded chips, 1 main meal of chicken Parma, we rolled with it and the burgers were delicious! We all had different ones and none disappointed. My son had the Parma and loved it! However I'd suggest putting a couple more main meals on the menu, ie; fish & chips, ribs maybe? Just a couple more to choose from. There was one group of 8 ladies that sat down but ended up walking out for that reason. It is as suggested a BAR style place so expect it to have the local yocals around and is a bit rough around the edges. If your looking for a casual place not a restaurant this is fine. Staff were friendly, quiet relaxed, so 3 out of 5 in all.

They team there are great make us feel home! Kids can stay to 10.30p.m, food is kick but and karaoke pulls great singers! And that's coming from Retroke Matt!

Great little bar just around the corner from us. Nice to get away from pokie machines and wall to wall tv. Good selection of live music and other weekly events. Friendly staff.

A terrible place run by a very nasty rude woman who is insulting and arrogant. My brother and my daughter went there a few months ago and my brother was horrified at how we were made to feel by the locals sitting at the bar. I contacted them to inform them of how bad it was for the three of us that night. Erin was very rude and unprofessional with her response. I attend many venues in Melbourne and Mornington and this was frightening and we would never return. I am equally disgusted with this womans response. I treat others with respect and I have been a patron of an array of nightclubs for many years such as Chasers, One six One, Cloud Nine, The Emerson, Revolver and various live music venues.
My review is about the atmosphere, music, security and patronage in general. The comments this woman has made are completely untrue and further show how these rude and insulting people behave. Posted to Facebook because I support many places and many young people as musicians. My opinion is always based upon facts and I want others to go out and enjoy quality venues. Sound bar is not a place to go fullstop and thankfully I can spread my review to many others very quickly. And when I contacted after she defamed me she blocked me because she's a very nasty vile woman.

Sound bar is my favourite place for a chill midweek drink on the foreshore. With food, video games, friendly staff and a good range of well priced drink, you won't find a reason to rush off home.

Kids are welcome and entertained by classic (crucial) video game history in the form of Sonic the Hedgehog and alike.

Rock on down for one of their amazing event nights and enjoy some live music, Rock-E-Oke (stretch out those lungbags) or enjoy any number of alternative entertainers.

Good food and service. The cauliflower poppers where great, the bao was perfect. Highly recommend for a good time.

Great vibe and music not to mention the beer always recomend this place to friends when visiting the area. Bonus is tht the place is dog friendly at the outside seating

Friendly staff but feels like they're unsure about what sort of atmosphere they're going for. Tasty cocktails as well.

Super Nintendo machine in the corner. This place is cool, although pretty quite when we were there on Friday early evening, beyond the local tradies sinking a cold one.
