It’s basically just a medical clinic to me,
I had to go here for a “pre-employment medicals”
one of the receptionist human was rude and unprofessional…. As the face at the front of a store or a medical place you are to know how to talk to people and make them feel welcome…why be in customer service if you don’t know how to “service”

However the manager here and all other staff was very good!

Hopelessly slow. Most staff walking around aimlessly. Not sure what the point of a appointment is if you have to wait and wait. All this for a simple medical.

The customer service experience is extremely bad. No words to explain the level of care they have, had multiple time when they forgot to tell the doctor about my appointment. Very irresponsible staff. Medical services should not be negligent on this level.

I came at 8: 45 in the morning and waiting for nearly 3 hours. Still they haven’t completed my medical examination. I strongly suggest employers not to use this SHP for any pre-employment medical checks. Their reasoning behind the delay is understaffed. Are the employers and consumers not paying them to do this service? Is SHP doing this service for free? Poor Service

Was lied to by there Dr being told I passed and then told I failed. What's more it took over 4 hours and 2 trips to do a medical. Would not recommend.

I've had 3 work medicals at the city clinic and I was always seen on time, with the whole process going smoothly, in and out within less than an hour. However, my recent experience at the DANDENONG clinic is by far the most ridiculous medical visit I have ever experienced. I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out the paperwork so I could have my appointment on time. I then waited over 2 hours to be seen for the first part of the medical, and each subsequent part of the testing (eg. Hearing test, eye test, drug screen) had a very long wait in between. The consultations were fine, but the amount of time it took was disgraceful. From start to finish I was there for 3 hours and 40 minutes. So after finally having my name called after more than 2 hours, the process still took another hour and a half. Total consult time including drug screen and hearing test would have been about 20 minutes. So that's over 3 hours of just waiting. It seems like a normal day at this place because other reviews are very similar. They're cramming in wayyyyy more people than they can deal with in a timely manner, and the end result on a regular basis is a ridiculously long wait. Staff were all pleasant enough but it doesn't make up for having people sit around for hours on end. For further work medicals I will book my appointment at the city centre, definitely won't be coming back to the Dandenong office!

Nurse Laura was amazing the way she drew my daughters blood and made sure, she was ok and explained everything, she was going to do.

The Female Dr on 14/5/21 in the am was also very comforting and talking to my daughter during her visa medical.

Thanks for all the other staff as well for there help and professionalism and kindness.

Your facility is ran very smoothly.

Extremely poor service. I have to make 7 calls to make 1 simple appointment. Are you outsourcing the call centre to North Korea? And it's 2021 now mate, they still using phone call as their only appointment option. You guys should use AUPOST for booking.it's more traditional. LOL

Not really sure why this clinic has such a low rating because I had a great experience. I booked my medical assessment over the phone once the Covid restrictions were lifted (my initial appointment was cancelled due to the Stage 4 lockdown). I was contacted a few days in advance to confirm my appointment with no issues. I arrived there just before opening and people were already lining up so make sure you get there with enough time before your scheduled appointment time! Proper social distancing was followed in the clinic with chairs spaced out in the lobby. They ask you to put in a new mask and sanitise, so make sure you don’t have too much in your hands upon entry. There were a few documents to fill out while in the waiting room (standard name, DOB, address etc.). I waited about 20-25 minutes to see the nurse and doctor. All examinations went well and smooth, everyone I came into contact with was friendly and welcoming. There are about 15 parking spots on the premises, and the rest would have to be on street, no issues. I would definitely recommend this clinic for visa medical appointments.

Not good clinic at all i had a appointment on saturday at 7.45 am.and they opened their door late there was other people too waiting.lady with glasses and short hair was very rude.i am surprised how she got hired here.and then they told me to come back after some few days to get my report.i told them to email it and they said we cant do that.and also that rude lady did not spell my name properly on the invoice.

Terrible Experience. Looks like their staff is not fimiliar with the procedure. They are not even sure where the sample should go to. Some staff are working with awful attitude.

Very very bad booking system for visa health checkups. Doesn’t allow us to make bookings online and forces us to call at 8am on the dot exactly 7 days before to book for the day we want. And still there’s no guarantee you will get a place after being put on hold for 20 mins. Might as well just go to the Docklands one in Melbourne. Something should be done to improve this system

The way the clinic Physiotherapist treated my relative was a complete insult to the profession. It makes me cringe to think that someone can treat someone's loved one so despicably. The details have now been omitted for disclosure reasons, however this clinic has read my previous comment and is well aware of the situation.

I will be contacting this practice shortly and if this matter is not dealt with appropriately, I will be contacting AHPRA and the APA.

At the first time, I was told that appointments were fully booked and need to call back to make an appointment on next week (which also means that I have to wait for another week to make an appointment), when I need to book an appointment for Medical examination. Then next week, I called back, I called them from 8: 00 am till 8: 30 am! But there is no one answer me! Omg! I thought I was called a fake number. So I have to check the website and email details of Referral information, again and again, to make sure that am not calling a wrong number. Finally, 35 minutes later, there is someone answered my phone call. And guess what? Fully booked again! What a joke! And the next available booking day is still next week! I just want to say that are you kidding me? If I can not book on this time that means I wasted at least two weeks here and do nothing! I can not imagine that what will happen at next week. Will still be fully booked? This is the worst clinic I have ever experienced. Seriously, this is too wasting time, which leads to a lot of plans for myself were destroyed by this situation.
