Solidaire reviews
42Such a lovely restaurant, staff were so obliging, kind and fast service. Food was delicious, over looking the water, recommend this place
Dirty, unorganized, food was few days old they just heated it up, the place looked abandoned and empty very disappointed never again
They serve us with over price burnt chicken wings which looked like they cooked ontop of a volcano. They also serve us some IGA level wedges and chips which was not appealing.
Cold starters. Mains were sparse on meat. Customer service non-existent. Server appeared disinterested. Sadly no atmosphere for what looked like a promising restaurant from the outside.
DON’T GO TO THIS RESTAURANT.
Trouble food. They served a cold and old food from 2 weeks ago. The atmosphere also not good as well.
Solidaire restaurant has to be my favourite restaurant in Melbourne. I had the best experience there. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, service was amazing and as for the food if I could live there and eat there every day I would! Also a great family friendly environment so I can’t wait to take my family out for dinner here. Thank you to Solidaire and the staff for all your fantastic service and amazing hospitality ️️
I have been to solidaire on multiple occasions and I couldn’t more highly recommend this restaurant. The food is the most delicious authentic Lebanese cuisine I have ever had. I have worked in hospitality for over 8 years and can say the staff, management and customer service are impeccable. Hands down my favourite restaurant in Melbourne.
Good friendly service, plenty of food options and the restaurant was able to vary based on dietary needs.
Everything is great, very quiet and amazing service. I recommend the shisha and tawok chicken platter
Worst experience ever, the staff literally did not care for customer. We waited for over an hour and never got the food, no even bread and butter. We left the restaurant as the restaurants seem to be ignored non Lebanese clients.waitress passed next us and didn't say a word! Completely rude and disrespectful about people time. If you want to go and waste 1hrs+ for no food, no drink and completely upset. This is the place to go!
Great place for having some of the best middle eastern delicacies, great staff and a great ambience. Generous serves of arabic bread and nicely done meat and dips to go with the platter! Special thanks to the chef for preparing us the Kunafeh on request- we loved it! Grilled snapper was too good, but Kunafeh was the winner! Overall, a great evening for us at the restaurant. We are for sure to return.
Cheers
I try my best to only leave good reviews but after our experience, it would be rather difficult for me to recommend this place to anyone. The only feedback I have is to seriously consider evaluating the characteristics of your food - appearance, aroma, taste, texture and consistency. Although my opinion is subjective, I believe this restaurant poorly reflects authentic lebanese cuisine. I hope the chefs see this review as constructive criticism and gain some inspiration out of it. The stars are solely for the 2 waiters who were constantly checking up on our table to ensure we were all well looked after, thank you!
I did go there.the food was ok. The place is nice, I felt though the fried chicken could have had flavour, my friend and i agreed that it had no flavour. The service is good, but i'm hoping for improvment. I will be coming back however, to this place!
Decent Lebanese food. It's better than all the other Lebanese restaurant I have been to. If you are from KSA, the garlic sauce might give you a little bit nostalgia of Al-Baik garlic sauce.
The family meal only families can order a single person/couple has to order two family meals otherwise no family deal for couples or for a single person… on the menu at least write the meaning of it lol it was written in Arabic with no meaning or translation never seen such menu in my life. Poor customer service
Charged me for two coffees ($11) for a single double espresso "because it has 2 shots". That's not how it works guys.
Not great unfortunately. We had the Chicken wrap and the falafel wrap. The food was on the expensive side, but the quality was substandard. The chicken was was dry and the falafel was so dry it was hard to swallow. They slather everything in this sticky brown sweet and sour sauce which was pretty sickly and felt out of place on the dish. Most of the food was left behind so it was a bit of a waste of money. The waiters were pleasant enough. However, we were originally charged for Shisha that we didn't order. They brought out the Shisha without saying a word and we thought it was a complimentary thing as all tables had a Shisha. We didn't know we would be charged for it at the end. Luckily, I noticed it on the bill after I requested a receipt. So if you receive a Shisha and did not order it, make sure you check.
They don't serve spoons with take away, rude customer Service very expensive for small portion of food, food tasted disgusting anyways, soggy chips, was so disappointed, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE.
Best Service Best Staff & friendly waters & very very nice and tasty food.thank you Chef Najeeb ABO GEORGE
Good food, good service, but very bright. I have operating theatres with more subdued lighting.
