This place is fine for a drink and nibble but definitely not worth it for a main meal.
Main sharing plates are overpriced for quantity, flavors are bland on most dishes and the textures mostly dry. Bit of a wannabe fine dining without the finesse or quality.

Love this place. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and not overly complicated. Amazing desserts too. Fabulous service. We’ll definitely be back!

Unique restaurant located in an alley between 2 buildings.

The foods were nice and the place was quite cozy.

Super positive experience dining here over the summer. Wait staff were excellent, very knowledgeable and created a great environment for dining. Dishes were plated elegantly and explored some delicious flavours. Couldn’t recommend this more if you’re a foodie heading to Melbourne!

Beautiful food and wine, very helpful waiter regarding amount needed for 6 people, and which dishes would be most suitable. A quirky place, well worth visiting.

Wow, best food in Melbourne. Started with cow's tongue, then salmon with peach and rocket salad, cheese to finish washed down with a pinot meunier and semilion dessert wine. Stunning.

A cute space, very cosy in size with modern interior. Great food (the potato is to die for!) and cocktails but not the biggest fan of the dessert.

I've been here a couple of times with work groups, and the share plates are always delicious.

Lovely spot for a drink after work! The staff seemed quite flat out, as it was very busy, but service was still helpful and prompt

Dining for 7 and all 7 loved this place. Very good food for very reasonable prices. The staff are attentive, friendly and fun. The squid, steak, lamb shoulder, polenta and all the sides were delicious. Not a bad dish to be had. And both the presentation and taste of the deserts were a highlight.

Would recommend to anyone.

Sojourn is a pop up restaurant/bar in Chancery Lane. You won't miss it because it is a prominent blue structure right in the middle of the street. On our visit we had dinner and cocktails at the restaurant. The rooftop bar was closed.

For dinner we had the duck liver parfait, artichokes, pork belly with cabbage, duck with rhubarb, brussel sprouts, beans with walnuts and beef ribs (a special dish not on the menu). The dishes were all delicious. We ate so much we found it difficult to fit in dessert, however we just had to try the bombe Alaska and the apple crumble. After all, a resturant review would not be complete if we excluded dessert. The apple crumble was a recommendation by the waiter and was a life like recreation of an apple. The bombe Alaska was flamed at the table but with a flame gun, not burnt with alcohol like it normally is at other restaurants where I have ordered it. Both were very nice.

The staff were all excellent, friendly and accommodating. Before we left we were informed that the menu would be updated with some new dishes. A good reason for us to return.

I would recommend this venue.

Amazing food, gorgeous restaurant and amazing service.

We ordered the Brussel sprouts, lamb, duck, calamari, apple pie and baked Alaska.

The standout was surprising the Brussel sprouts - a beauty blend of savory and sweet. Lamb and duck were cooked beautifully. Bread was delicious.

The desserts were just a work of art. The craftsmanship in the recipes are truly outstanding.

Cannot compliment enough the service we recieve from Pacey. We stumbled across this place on our travels and decided to give it a try and was the best decision we made. The food is fine dining so don't expect big plates but just enough with a bottle of wine and you must try the dessert - we had bombalaska. Pacey was absolutely a delight to be served by and talk to. Her professional is outstanding and made us feel so welcome

A blue colour steel structure pop up in the middle of the lane way. Not bad environment with Friday drinks with business partners. Definitely a good place for after work drinks.
