SoilWorx Werribee

Couldn't be more disappointed with their veggie mix. We got $245 worth of it delivered around 6 months ago, and I have waited until now to see how the first crop have faired in it, in our raised veggie patches. When we received it we were startled to find glass fragments, and even a reflector from the road mixed up in our veggie mix (this must have come with the mix as the soil wasn't dropped onto our road at all). Now we know that the mix is extremely hard and crusty on the top layer, even with soil wetter used several times, and mulch, and our veggies are not going well in it at all, even in one patch where we have tried to improve the soil with extra manure and compost. Also, the original manure that came with it must have had weeds within it as we had weeds sprouting in the mix from the beginning, even though they should have been untouched by weeds. The only good thing I can say is about the swift delivery and the accomodating staff member who supplied our soil. We definitely wouldn't be buying this again and quite frankly I think we deserve some kind of reimbursement for this appalling soil, as it is not fit for use as described on the website.

I've had about 4 deliveries so far to home and the staff at Werribee if I visit or ring are cool. The delivery side is great the drivers have dropped each time where I needed it and I wasn't home. The tech side for deliveries I find cool as well.

SoilWorx Werribee is opposite Werribee Mercy down a service lane. Lots of parking off street and you can drive through, park up then drive out again after loading up your car. Friendly expert service from the salesperson who was also a horticulturalist!
I learnt a new thing about stone dust and scoria which you can add both to your soil for trace elements and minerals and drainage (the scoria)

The woman made me load heavy stones into my car on my own. I have a heart condition and elderly. Her attitude wasn't great

Great customer service, the guy there always very help and sometimes I get a lady too, she good. Both excellent.

Justin is a champion. I bought the veggie mix of him for a new veggie patch as well as for fruit trees in our garden. The soil is amazing, as we had a bumper crop of tomatoes, chilli's, capsicum, eggplant and other veggies over summer and now we have broad beans, mixed lettus varieties and more growing like crazy. Highly recommend soilworx customer service (thanks to Justin of course!) as well as the quality of the veggie mix. Number one!

Friendly staff and great service! Do your research, people clearly get easily offended when they expect their hand held and they don't want to pay for the privilege!

Ordered several cubic metres of veggie blend and the soil had pH of 8.5-9. Nothing grows well in that type of soil. 9months on, and I am still struggling to correct this.
Also, it's more expensive to order at store than online! So don't bother visiting.
I'm now looking to order more bulk materials and will shop elsewhere.

Spoke to a lovely lady to book our soil and bark delivery, told her I didn’t know what soil to order but needed something for my lawn to fill holes from my dogs digging in the lead up to selling our house.
Nice guy dropped both soil and bark off at our house. Once we had laid the soil, we had some rain and it was after this point that we noticed the quality of the soil. There was cement, glass, fabric amongst other rubbish in the soil.
When I called to complain as not only was it dangerous for my dogs (including a 4 month on puppy) but my backyard now looked worse.
Our real estate agent even commented on the poor quality.
The lady was helpful on the phone offering a refund on the soil component and said if I wanted more soil she could arrange for the same type of soil they use on football fields - not a filler (like we received) at a cost.
This is extremely disappointing as I had explained exactly what I needed over the phone and now am left with my backyard in a pretty horrible state!

Waited over 15 minutes for no service, lady got off the tractor and seen us (the only person working there). But decided to clean the bucket of the tractor and not acknowledge us. Seems to be a common occurrence looking at the reviews.
Decided to leave and go to all greens where their service was excellent.

The service I received here far outweighed the slightly below-expectations garden soil I picked up. So friendly and welcoming, and willing to help wherever possible.

Justin was great! He took the time to talk to us and offer suggestions. People like Justin are very rare to find these days.

Standing there waiting for 10mins no one came and the lady on the machine out the back knew we were waiting! Just left and off to all green nursery:)

I would never recommend this place to anyone. I bought 1 cubic soil from hoppers crossing store which was delivered to my place 3 weeks ago, However quantity of the soil was not enough. Deliver driver said if we have any concerns I can contact Head office.
I contacted the head office to report that but the lady over the phone was least interested and said that I need to contact the store and she cannot do anything.
I went to the store & storeperson who is simply not interested in customers at all said that if order more soil and he will not charge for half cubic soil or I can bring my own trailer and take half cubic soil free if charge.
I went to the store today and the storeperson plainly refused to honour that since he does remember any such thing which was not a surprise as he usually hyper & under the influence of some substance he is smoking while working.

Amazing service the guy there’s a gun very helpful and so very quick I watched him serve 5 of us at once without any stress.

Happy with the customer service at Soilworx werribee and delivery received first thing Saturday morning.

Great service easy to use. I was able to book online via their website and view everything I needed. I called to add a extra to the order. Unfortunately my extra order got lost but once I called it was sorted out very fast and delivery was on my door within the hour. We all can make a mistake as we are human but they fixed it very fast with no fuss. Drivers and phone staff were very friendly. W
I will be using them again for sure and recommend others do a well
