For me Soggy Dog was by far the best choice I could made in finding a studio to record my songs. Right from the start i was welcomed into a relaxing atmosphere and becoming evident quickly is the fact that Steve Vertigan really knows his stuff, with knowledge and insight gained over many years in the industry. So easily could I have gone to another studio but for sure would not have got the outcome that I now have. The session players that Steve can access are incredibly good and are well respected within the industry, Steve and the players did an amazing job with my songs. Have a listen to the paddock "yesterdays songs" see for yourself.

The best, most professional studio I've recorded in! Steve is so knowledgable and experienced - he gets the absolute best sound out of my voice every time and makes it so easy. Final tracks are always perfect quality - with or without special effects. Will be coming back for sure!

Steve is absolutely fantastic, I had never done anything like recording before and the whole experience was exceptional. I am so excited about our work and I highly recommend Steve for anyone wanting brilliant results, cannot thank Steve enough!

Awesome! My latest trio album was recorded here, as we had all worked here on previous occasions, with unanimously positive experiences. Steve get's excellent sounds, very quickly, and charges very reasonably.

I worked with Steve on my latest album, 'Remember, I am'. It was a fully scored neoclassical / post rock work for multi layered live looped cello. Because of the complexity of the project, I really needed to find a recording engineer who could fluently read music, understand and appreciate music theory and someone who had extensive experience / expertise within the classical genre, including mic'ing stringed instruments. Steve was a perfect fit and his studio and recording space gave an intimate and authentic sound / experience.
