Social Foundry reviews
44Hats off to the leadership and training team at the Social Foundry. I have stopped twice in recent weeks for breakfast and lunch. Both times I had different staff and the service was fantastic both times. Great coffee and an excellent menu that is tasty and well priced. Will definitely make this a regular stop as we travel up the Calder.
While the premise of the cafe seems impressive, 1 barista on a weekday morning for a such a large cafe is a complete FAIL. 20 minute wait for a takeaway coffee. Not good.
Very welcombing and food a bit slow coming but saying that well worth the wait, pancakes so yummy +
Great food & iced coffee backed by efficient and friendly service all supporting a worthy cause for local disadvantaged people.
Food and cafe itself was brilliant, the community idea is wonderful. The Mr. Salmon was awesome. Highly recommend.
The service not so much. I was told to take a seat and it was table services after 10 mins I went looking for someone to order a drink and my breakfast from and not that busy at 09: 30 on a weekday durring COVID-19.
The food and coffee is consistently great, and the cause they're supporting is fantastic.
I just wish they were open Sundays (the very best brunch day) so I could enjoy them more often ️
Sir Salmon is an excellent choice for lunch. Great service and excellent coffee.
It's a great team effort at Social Foundry.
The burger was absolutely amazing. Not gonna lie, but it is probably one of the best I have had. The white sauce / relish combo hit the spot. Great service and location.
This café in Kyneton is great. The modern design is amazing. The food and drinks are incredible, and it’s a great meeting place. Definitely would recommend.
Funky vibe, awesome setting, great menu, first class staff and service. Relaxed atmosphere, perfect location. Our go place with friends and family. Keep up the great work. Trust you guy's will be successful with the fully lisenced permit.
Decorative, Delectable and delightful should be all I say, Great food, Friendly staff and nice coffee
Great cafe. Food was on point, very quick and prices very reasonable. Coffee great, nice and strong. Service was excellent. Great idea for nonprofit operation. Nice social products for sale with a good cause. Will definitely be back if ever in the area.
A great tasting coffee can be found here (based on the Mrs tasting). It is an establishment that is non profit, with profits helping disadvantaged youth. It also employs to up skill youth who are having a tough time. For that reason alone it is worth adding to your Kyenton refreshment repertoire. There is plenty seating inside and out, including a childrens play area. Food is available. Please consider
Great social enterprise cafe with an amazing mission. You don’t have to put up with bad coffee either, the coffee and food are all top notch.
The staff are really friendly efficient and helpful.
There is lots of outdoor seating and the perfect spot to meet with friends on a beautiful spring day.
A great community project for local youth. Makes good coffee and food.
Some outdoor seating is perfect for Spring and Autumn.
Plenty of seating room inside too
A fantastic initiative with a difference seeking to positively serve, engage and connect with the community as an agent for transformational community development on local challenges as well as global issues. A place where you can find belonging.
I went there for dinner on Friday night for a Pacific Islands themed cook up and story telling night. It was a wonderful experience.
I think every community would benefit from having a Social Foundry. Love your work.
Brilliant spot, great food, good coffee and it provides hospitality training to young people in the Macedon ranges region. Get in there and support them. Great service and local outcomes.
I brought my management team here for a corporate retreat.
It was great to get out of Melbourne, and they gave us a great space with total privacy and provided breakfast, lunch, coffees and snacks.
All in all, it was a very economical and productive time away, while supporting a fantastic social enterprise.
I recommend it to anyone looking for a place for some strategic planning.
Great use for a former car sales place, right in the heart of Kyneton. Excellent coffee and eats (hot cross buns with real cherries) with friendly and helpful young staff. Nice blend of modern setting with retro chairs and tables.
Great social enterprise and really supportive of young people that want to work towards building their skills. Plus amazing food and coffee!:)
