Maura is my go to person when I get my hair cut in Melbourne. I always struggle between what I want and what I need. Maura finds really good balance and give the best advice every time!

Visited SO HAIRcutters twice in the past 6 months, and customer service has always been on point! I love how they assign the same hairdresser for each visit and conduct a consultation, my hair dresser was Maura, who was amazing, asked me what i liked and also offered coffee upon arrival.i went for a drastic change and cut off my hair into a bob with advice from Maura about what length would suit me.i’m very happy with the results and have been getting compliments from everybody that this is the perfect look for me! So so brilliant! Philip is a magician with curly hair. I loved his suggestions for my hair color. I walked in with lifeless curls and walked out with bouncy defined curls.

This place is amazing. I have never felt soo much at peace while someone was doing my hair. I was always scared they would ruin it or cut too much.
But Philip was amazing, he listened to my concerns and what I wanted my hair to look like and my inspiration for my hair and he did exactly that.

Phillip is a magician with curls and is very friendly. You can see the before and after in the pictures. Prices were steep, but possibly the best curly cut I've ever had, my curls seemed well understood and it really suits my face. They provide detailed pamphlets about curl maintenance afterwards, clearly a passionately run salon:) and make sure you get their coffee and homemade brownie!

Went in for a haircut with Phil and he did such a good job for my 3A curly hair. I’ve never had my curls cut before by a hairdresser as I didn’t trust anyone but Phil took amazing care of it. He has such an attention to detail, knows how to frame the face well & is absolutely lovely to talk to. So Haircutters is such a lovely vibe and I don’t trust anyone else to take care of my curls!

Philip and Yolanda are wonderful. By far the best haircut and experience I've ever had - I didn't even know my curls could look this good! Phil started off by getting to know my hair and typical processes, and took such care and precision to cut and style my hair. They sent me home with a print out, guidance, and samples to clean and style it correctly. The team there is so wonderful, I look forward to going back! It's worth every penny.
