Snap Print & Design Hawthorn

Terrible customer service, called for a job to be done on a Monday (staff member said it was possible to have the job complete by Friday), I had to call to follow up on the Tuesday and Wednesday as they didn't respond to my email.
By the Thursday, same response, someone will call me back with an update.
No phone call.called again and same response!

If the job can not be complete, the customer should be notified in a timely fashion so other plans can be arranged, this is only fair.

Very grateful for Snap Hawthorn for helping me with a last minute printing job, even though it was a very small job, and even though I arrived just before they closed. Reasonable printing prices too! Will no doubt be back if I need anything larger!

I went to print for an assignment and instally got quoted by a worker for $70-$80 (which THEY decided the paper quality and weight to use, to which I wasn't too fussed as, I stated that as long as it was under $100 I was all good for it and they stated "it won't go over $100. I've never seen it be more than $100"). Went back the next day to pick up my printing, after I called in to check if my order was finished, instore the staff then told me that my order totalled to $145, which was DOUBLE what I was initially quoted. Tried to reason with staff, asking if they could explain the difference in pricing and bring out the staff member that had initially quoted me but was then notified by the attending staff member, that the employee who initially quoted me was "busy" and that since the printing was already done and was "hard to bind", hence I should just "deal with it".

I was left with no choice but to pay for it due as my order being for my assignment (which was due the next day). Very frustrated and disappointed with the overall service and how I was treated instore. NOT ONLY WAS I CHARGED DOUBLE WHAT I WAS QUOTED, (after being lead to believe it would not exceed $100), but to also be told by a staff member to "DEAL WITH IT" is UNACCEPTABLE AND APPALLING. Staff was unwilling to even match the price to $100 (which is what I was told it would "never" be over).

Would have appreciated being told up front, the "actual price" instead of being promised such a different price from what I actually had to pay. Only to be stressed out and in tears about my order, laughed at by an employee who told me the staff that initially quoted me was "busy" and that I should just "deal" with the price because my order was finished, is utterly DISRESPECTFUL and upright rude. Not to mention that the lack of transparency and treatment of a PAYING CUSTOMER is shocking.

Never have I been so lost for words at the treatment from an employee or their management of a situation. Not only did I leave the store in tears, but I also left feeling humiliated and disrespected. SAFE TO SAY I WILL NEVER BE PLACING MY BUSINESS AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT EVER AGAIN.

Outstanding service. Prompt and efficient and took the stress of a large binding job off of our hands within the hour of the initial enquiry.
