Smokin Joe's Pizza

I recently had the pleasure of trying the pizza and pasta from Smoking Joe in Bundoora, and I must say, it was a delightful experience.

Firstly, the pizza was absolutely fantastic. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way I like it, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I opted for the classic margherita, and it was the perfect combination of tangy tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, and I couldn't help but go for seconds.

The pasta was equally impressive. I chose the spaghetti carbonara, and it was cooked to perfection. The pasta was al dente, and the sauce was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned. The addition of crispy bacon and grated Parmesan cheese elevated the dish to another level. It was a comforting and satisfying meal that left me craving for more.

Aside from the amazing food, I was also impressed with the service at Smoking Joe. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, which added to the overall experience.

All in all, I highly recommend Smoking Joe in Bundoora for their delicious pizza and pasta. Whether you're in the mood for a classic margherita or a hearty carbonara, they have it all. The quality of the food, combined with the excellent service, makes it a must-visit for any pizza and pasta lover.

We got 30 or so pizza’s from work. All were hot and delivered on time. We would use them again

My kids and I are always ordering the mushroom Parmi big portions i cant even eat 1 it's so yummy still hot when delivered chips and there salt they use is beautiful will order again coz my kids love it

A good little local for a quick feed and some very decent grill came to get a pizza for the family but decided to give their wings a shot and was very happy with the result hard to beat some good wings straight off the grill meat coming right off the bone.

Chips are the thicker steak cut chips with a good amount of seasoning on top and the pizzas are pretty good very happy with my supreme pizza with prawns and all the trimmings.

Young Asian Man who served us did a great job holding down the fort alone until help arrived. Great service, gave me everything we needed before I even asked for it or expected from a tiny little pizza shop. (napkins, plates and cutlery even)

Kids are hooked on the wings so we will be back! Thanks!

Supreme pizza was really good, had prawns, salami and vegetables and even pineapples! Garlic bread was also tasty, smokin special pasta was just ok

4th time there at SMOKIN JOES! Have to drive more than 60 kms round trip!

STOP PRESS! A YEAR HAS PASSED SINCE MY ORIGINAL REVIEW AND THIS PLACE SMOKIN JOE'S BUNDOORA HAS GONE RIGHT OFF! THE PAST 3 TIMES I'VE BEEN THE RACK OF PORK RIBS AND LAMB RIBS ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL! STICKY CHICKEN WINGS I COULD ONLY EAT 2 AND HAD TO THROW THE REST OUT!

Ordered the chicken and a pizza Food was like plastic. No flavour. Everything tasted stale. Honestly Really bad food

I ordered a large smoking Joe's fully loaded. I ended up by getting a smoke Joe's special completely the wrong pizza and it was terrible not happy

Worst experience ever! I should have checked the reviews before ordering food from here again. Wasted $60 on food that was uneatable. The girl over the phone barely spoke English and even through I insisted the order be repeated to me several times, we still got delivered the incorrect pasta. The chips we received were stone cold and so was the chicken. And when I say stone cold I mean it felt like it had just been pulled out of the fridge.

We rang and spoke to the manager who blamed the cold chicken on the weather outside. He refused to send the order out again as apparently they did everything right and refused to refund my money.

We will definitely not be going here again.

Pizza was bought out to us and when I opened the box my mouth watered and as I picked up a slice and the cheese was melted perfectly with its stringy texture.
This pizza was absolutely delicious I will be back and I will tell my friends.

They must have changed owners here! The fat chips here used to be amazing and thick cut with so much potato (thats was what it was know for). Recieved my order today and the chips were not the same and so dissapointing! Dry, skinny looking chips, so yuck! Won't be ordering here ever again.

I'm not the biggest fan of take away but honestly I was surprised at the quality of this place. The steak was cooked really well with minimal fat and the portions are huge. Chips are good. Pleasantly surprised with multiple orders - consistency is great.

I really recommend the satay sauce it’s so delicious! I always order it and i always feel like drinking it like a soup lmao

Sad to have to write this review as I once really enjoyed this place but of late the quality of food has declined rapidly. I ordered a chicken pasta and only received 4 small pieces of chicken in it, called The restaurant to Speak to the manager about this issue and his response was come down I’ll give you a couple of pieces of chicken like I’m some pigeon walking around the front of the store looking for scraps.
Tonight we thought we would give smoky Joes another go ordering grilled Tenders and again we were served with poor quality food and, wait for it, 9 chips….
Not sure if this store is trying to cost cut on their food but they are certainly not giving value for money. Very very disappointing and if you’re local I suggest you steer clear of smoky Joes Bundoora

Tasty food and super BIG portions! Love the chip seasoning. Sweet chilli tenders are so nice. Risotto is delicious.

Damn good parma would definitely recommend chicken avocado pasta was so nice and loved the seasoning they use on chips so delightful.

Terrible Pizza.spent $60 on 2 pizza's and a garlic bread. It was stone cold and took a hour and galf to go a 10 min drive.

Consistently great pizza with great variety of toppings and styles. Service is fast too.fat chip's with mushroom sauce is my all time favourite.
