After approaching a few carpet stores in the outer east, I finally encountered Smith's Floorworld - Ringwood. I was very impressed with how the team arranged and installed my chosen flooring and carpet. A sales representative (Pat) provided great advice and a quote on the same day.
The tradespeople installing were also efficient and reliable. The carpet itself was of exceptional quality, giving the home a fresh and modern touch.

Absolutely amazing service at every step of the way. We had no idea what we needed in our four bedrooms but the team took their time and gave us really great options that were right for us. Installation was a breeze, on time, polite and they left no mess.
Was not acknowledged by the salesperson. They then set up a conversation with other customers in a circle around me while I was crouched down looking at samples. A very weird and unwelcoming experience. Took my money elsewhere.
I can’t recommend Smiths Floor World enough. From choosing our carpet to the installation, the whole experience was great. We are extremely happy with the end result.

From the moment we walked through the door and was greeted by the warmest and friendliest admin Sue, through to the immense patience we were given by Chantel (I am sure my indecisiveness about flooring colour in unsurpassed) and finally the install by the most polite and respectful young men, we were very impressed. The flooring looks amazing, and we would recommend Smiths Floorworld Ringwood for customer service and affordability to anyone.
We recently had Smiths Floorworld install floating flooring and carpet in a unit we own in Ringwood. The installation was completed over 2 days as advised and the flooring looks very impressive. We would have no hesitation in recommending these people.
Damien and the team have done multiple jobs for my clients and the service has been exemplary and quality of the product and installation. I have no problem recommending them and will continue to use the business personally or when my clients need flooring.
Known Damien for years, and years at Smith’s Floorworld and you cannot get a better more experienced person in the floor covering business.

What can I say about Smith's Floorworld at Ringwood.
If the scale went to 10 I'd give them a 12. We shopped around to replace all the flooring throughout the house, floating floor in parts, carpet in others. All that is pretty normal and we were happy been given the best price.
Involving the entire house we split it up into 3 categories each 2 weeks apart. In addition to this we had our kitchen and family room renovated, this obviously necessitated in a lot of planning particularly in timing.
Needless to say, as in "Grand Designs" things went haywire, and this resulted in having to go and ask Denise to postpone not once but twice installation dates, in addition to this because of circumstances pertaining to the entire Reno we had to change stage 2 from floating floor to carpet. In all this, Smith's never battered an eyelid. We are so grateful we chose Smith's.
ALWAYS REMEMBER WHEN BUYING, BE KIND TO THE STAFF AND TREAT THEM LIKE YOU WOULD YOUR MOTHER.
Appalling customer service. Staff have poor communication within Smiths floor world and with customers. We visited the showroom and picked our carpets. We left all our details with the staff (both of our phone numbers, email addresses and our home address). We were told to expect a quote within a day or two, only to realise a week later there was no quote. I called and followed it up with them to be told “we don’t have your email address”. I gave it to them again and got the quote. Got another email, it was the wrong quote. Regardless of the poor communication I still wanted to go ahead with the carpets, as we were already so far into the process. I called the shop to try and book a carpet lay date (should have been done early if only we didn’t have to wait on the quote) to be told “it’s not enough notice”. One of the staff members who we had worked directly with did not want to assist us, he wanted to hand the conversation off to the staff member who wrote our quote. I was told they would call back at the earliest possible time, as she was with a customer. I called at 10: 57am and at 5: 28pm I had not received a call. Tried to call them, they were closed. I communicated through email I was unhappy with the customer service and received no response. Would have preferred to use Smiths due to being so far through the process but that would be a big mistake. Overall had an awful and stressful experience.
I am very happy with our choice of carpet and the person who installed it.
But Dissapointed with what I paid at the end, take up and removal of the old carpet was an extra $120.00 that was NEVER explained and was only mentioned the morning of installation.

I've purchased all my flooring from Damien at Smith's Floorworld. He was very patient with my back and forth decision making and quick in his responses to me. The Hycraft Chatsworth carpet we chose is incredibly soft and just perfect while the Quickstep Majestic has been extremely durable with our young boys.
I am very happy with the services at Smith's Floorworld. Damien is so nice, helpful and easy to deal with. The price that they offer is just so great and so much better than the prices quoted by other stores in the Eastern suburbs. Damien helped us order the accessories that we needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. He managed to deliver the products to us within 3 days. Their customer service is just excellent, 10/10.
