We are so fortunate to have found this wonderful art studio so close to home! Julia has created a beautiful, supportive, fun and engaging space for her art students! My daughter throughly enjoys her classes and her creative masterpieces are brilliant! Julia is a wonderfully gentle and kind teacher and we cannot recommend Smiling Heart studio more highly! I enrolled my daughter after her regular classes were unavailable. I was a little worried as she is very specific about what she likes and dislikes. Julia’s classes were amazing. She told me that they were the best classes she has been to and they do “better” art. If she is happy and wants to keep going, I’m happy. My daughter told me she never wants to go to any other art class. It’s an amazing place that brings out the best in your child and fills them with confidence. Thanks Julia!

My son loves Julia’s art classes. He looks forward to every Monday afternoon and as the term ends he keeps telling me again and again that he really wants to keep coming back! Julia is very positive, gentle, and encouraging, and there is a lovely energy in the room. The creative experiences in the classes have been so diverse and all really engaging for the children. My 8yo daughter has been coming to Smiling Minds for over a year now, and it is her extra curricular activity that she most looks forward to. Julia has a lovely way with the children and the classes are so thoughtfully executed. The classes are also very chill, it’s a really relaxing environment for the kids. Not to mention the beautiful artwork they produce, my daughter’s always very proud of the pieces she brings home.

My daughter has been attending after school art classes with Julia for almost a year now. She absolutely adores Julia’s approach to art; and loves the variety in what the class makes. Art creations can be a one off piece or a project that is worked on over a few weeks. Currently making clay peacocks which my daughter is loving.
We have also had a birthday party at Julia’s which was amazing.

Julia is so talented and kids love her. They have created so many art work together. Highly recommended!
