Smile Buffalo Thai Black Rock

Recently went here for my Nan’s birthday dinner with a group of family. The decor is nice, but it was very quiet inside (no music and only one other table booked). The food is amazing! Some of the best Thai we’ve had. Service is average. Great drinks and you can BYO wine

For the milder pallet. Duck was cooked to perfection! Full flavour red curry without the heat.

Ordered for home delivery. Took an hour and a half and we live 5 minutes from the restaurant. Said when ordering it would take 45 minutes. Rubbish service and food was terrible. Never again.

It was our first time at Smile Buffalo and the food was delicious. The service could be improved as the shared mains didn’t all come out together and we had to wait a longer time for the rice. But I would definitely go back and try more of the delicious food.

After driving past here for years and thinking to myself, I really should try this place, I finally did! Delicious Thai food! Thumbs up!

Great food and great value when you order straight off their website! Food was delivered within 25 minutes and 20% cheaper when you order directly from the website.

Place was half full but not noisy at all, so a very relaxing time.
Friendly staff, just an all round discrete, relaxed place.

Tried the place for dinner. The ambience of the restaurant is excellent, with good service. The food had excellent flavours, although slightly disappointed with the the red duck curry as it lacked enough sauce. A contemporary take on plating of the dish, but it didnt meet the mark. The rest was good

I had an incredible time dining in at Smiling Buffalo!
The food was excellent and, for the quality of food served, it was appropriately priced for its location.
The waiting staff were friendly and accomodating, making sure I had all I needed. A last note; the music was spot on!

Overall, a great experience and I’ll be in again with friends, soon!

Went to Smile Buffalo tonight, waited 1 3/4 hours for any food…, they ‘lost’ the order. Confusing reasons provided by staff. Very frustrating because the food is very good.

Terrific, well-priced Thai cuisine. One of the best in this area, which is saying a lot. The friends I invite are never disappointed. The coconut prawns are well worth tasting. Friendly and helpful staff. A winner.

I lovely restaurant, however, the lighting was far too bright. Subdued lighting would be far more inviting, particularly in the evening when people want to enjoy their dinner in a more romantic inviting atmosphere.
Less lights would also be cheaper!

Every dish on the menu is sure to please! Have dined enough times to try everything so i can leave a review with confidence and assurance!

Incredible food! The absolute best Thai! The basil beef is just amazing! Really excellent service too.
