Service was fantastic lovely staff, clean, cute little store with a great assortment of deli goods, and yummy sandwiches!

Small axe deli is a tiny niche place that provides a great selection of focaccia sandwiches, salads and other hot foods (I saw lasagne and sausage rolls on my visit)
I had the tomato and pesto sandwich (toasted) and it was great!

Not much seating I wouldn’t call this places main business dine in but it was possible.

They also have a great selection of food stuff you can take home should you wish.

This is it, this is one of the greatest delicatessens in the world. Vibey music with a rustic interior, staff with a smile on their dial and a strong penchant for toasted boutique goods featuring fresh produce.
Come here if you know what’s good for you.

One of my favourite spots in Brunswick! I have developed a severe addiction the the carrot cake… All the food is delicious and so is the coffee. The team is lovely too! Such a good place.

Great coffee and super friendly barista! Their almond brownies are the best brownies that I've ever had! They also have a large selection of wines, cheeses, and homemade meals that look & taste amazing

Worst cafe in brunswick.i asked for an iced latte and the girl gave me a warm drink which was half full.she was also very rude.worst experience never going back

I just sat down for a sausage roll & it was delicious, im dying to try all their other options now. Service was great & its a cute place as well.

Cosy little Mediterranean inspired deli that makes everything in house, you order and they bring it to where you are sitting. The chicken sandwich was crispy, and filling.

Love the sandwiches and salads, but the coffee is SO expensive. $7.30 for a large soy flat white.

Been here before and coffee was great despite high price tag and weekend surcharge. Change of barista today will stop me from going back again. Not sure if he was making a game of trying to take my partner’s order without saying a word but wouldn’t clarify sizes available and pointed to square machine without saying or displaying a price of order. Managed to talk with other staff while making coffees though.

Hey team, just wanted to send a quick note to say I thought the grazing box was awesome.
My friend commented that it looked like it had been ‘prepared with love’, and I couldn’t agree more. Well chosen selection of salumi, cheese and crackers/ bread. Good sized portions and very well presented.

Another gem in Brunswick. Fantastic sandwiches and cakes. A nice range of beer and wine as well!

Really enjoyed their truffle chips. But was super uncomfortable while inside their shop. Both owners not wearing masks and the chef also not wearing a mask! We are in our 5th lockdown, I’m sure there are other cafes out their that are more respectful of the rules and deserve our business.

What champions! Despite enduring 5 lock-downs as a small business they have always put the community first, delivering packages and providing great service, quality food and amazing coffee to get us all through the day!

Love, love, love Small Axe Deli! I visit every time I'm in Melbourne and stock up on eggplant parmigiana, Sicilian meatballs and delicious Italian wines. The staff are super friendly and helpful

Everything was delicious. You order from what is available and the food is brought to where you sit. I ordered the pastrami sandwich, the lentil green salad and a cinnamon scroll. The sandwich was not overwhelmingly meaty with really tasty bread. The salad was full of flavour and veggies but not overly dressed. The cinnamon scroll I was most surprised by. It was so soft on the inside and not overly sweet even though it was coated with icing.

Great food, but went to get a salad today, but after seeing 3 staff without masks went cross the road to IGA. Seriously?

Got their take home lasagne pack. Was nice and easy to cook in their glass reusable ikea container. Was a good size for 2-3 people.

These guys are amazing! We bought a hamper from them and had it delivered by them to relatives in these weird social distancing times. The hamper was absolutely superb. Beautiful quality foods and in good amounts. The recipients were over the moon and so were we. We thought the price was very reasonable too. Highly recommended!
