Skinners Adventure Playground reviews
22What a dump and extremely filthy! Avoid for the sake of the children! This place is dangerous and rundown and looks nothing like the pictures!
Looks pretty but be careful you’re not allowed to go in without a child just to look around
It's nice park.though very old equipments, kids love to go there, it's restricted close at 5.30 pm and doesn't open on weekend.
My kids there go for trampoline it's has not being replaced since month.other parts are locked to for safety.
There is basketball rings, tables toilets, the workers there do some activities
Excellent play area for young/school aged children. Great friendly staff. Highly recommended, my children love it there.
This is a great whimsical playground that immediately felt like it has a lot of history behind it once you walk through the gate. It feels like a place where children can take risks, excercise their imagination and go on a big adventure with whatever story they can cook up with. There are also interesting art and doodles all around the area that set it apart from modern playground which can be too safe and bland.
Its a community playground. Seems managed by someone there. Very interesting design of playground. Alot of slides and castles type of playground. Also has sandpit and jumping mesh like trampoline. Great place for kid
A hidden gem in the backyard of a residential area. It's almost like a child's dream adventure playground; slides, tunnels, tree houses, trampoline and much more!
An interesting cacophony of tree houses, climbing equipment, platform and activities room made from recycled shipping containers, trampoline, sandpit and plenty of bikes, trikes and scooters. All right in the heart of South Melbourne. If you have time to kill with your little ones come here for loads of fun
Fabulous playground that invites kids to explore every bit of it. My twelve year old enjoyed it just as much as my six year old, which was also wonderful. Lots of shade, as well.
This is a great playground! There are so many exciting things to explore here and it is a great place to foster imaginative play! There are lots of slides, tunnels to crawl through and towers to climb. There are also a couple of sandpits, a trampoline and a plethora of other things to keep any kids interested. The staff on hand are very friendly and very quick to offer help! It's nice and close to South Melbourne shopping so there are lots of places for a revitalising snack after a good play!
Visiting from interstate with 4 & 6yo. Needed to give them a good play. They loved it, reckon it's the best playground they've ever been to. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to others.
A great place for kids to play, lots of options and opportunity for imagination. Very impressed
Fantastic outdoor play area for the kids, healthy food, water and cordial provided for free. The children can just help themselves anytime. Highly recommended A+
One of the most interesting playgrounds I've been to with a huge array of makeshift and homemade play equipment. Will definitely keep the kids occupied for a while. Only downside is some parts are a looking pretty aged and rundown and may be a little less safe than your average playground. Still definitely worth a visit.
A little haven in the middle of south Melbourne. However the place is a bit dirty, and parts of the equipment seems a bit old and splintery. Overall, a fun place for older kids.
Great play equipment for all types of children's abilities and ages. Port Phillip council youth workers are fantastic who supervise children playing plus provide snacks, fruit and additional activities to all children. A real family oriented environment with the additional support services they provide is simply outstanding and definitely worth being a part of. I highly recommend all parents attend with their children as you would not be disappointed.
Amazing playground with something for every child. Has opening hours so make sure you check before makong your way there very community minded.
Similar to its brother St Kilda Adventure Playground but shabbier. Not as popular as St Kilda Aventure Playground.
States at the gate that it's designed for kids aged 5-12. A nice little oasis behind the ministry of housing block on Dorcas street. My 3 year old loves it
A wonderful playground, fabulous staff, great programs, including Monday Art group, Wednesday's Boys Group & Thursday's Girls group. My daughter loves it and I know she is in a safe, supervised space!
