Went to Sk8house recently, and it was incredible! The lively music and the excitement of skating made it such a enjoyable outing and my younger brother had so much fun! The staff was really friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a seasoned skater or trying it out for the first time, it's a fantastic spot to have a good time with friends!

Our disability support service enjoyed a great day at the lovely Sk8 House today and were completely taken care of by Mark.
He was so attentive and caring to our clients, swapping their skate sizes around and tightening wheels to get the very best fit: Adjusting them throughout while our guys got familiar with this new activity.
He was encouraging and assisted support staff as the group conquered their nerves out on the rink, as well as serving and preparing all food and drinks at the canteen 10/10

I went here on the weekend and was not happy.
I am fairly new to rollerblading and I wanted to go for a skate. When I got to the rink the staff seemed very disorganised. After I got my skates on, I headed for the rink. The rink was very bumpy and there were thick lines going the length of the rink all the way down. I was skating when my wheel got caught in said line and I fell pretty hard on my hip. I left straight away and went to skate world. Do not recommend for any level of skater.

I also came here with a friend and the hired skated were of poor quality.the wheels were squeaking and moving in the bracket. He was not happy. The tables were also sticky and the rink was dusty.

I would recommend skate world or rollerama instead

NOT HAPPY

First time we have gone to SK8 in Carrum Downs and had a great time. Not too crowded for a Sunday afternoon which made it so much better. A bit noisy but definite value with 3 hours rather than 2. We rented skates that had worn wheels that would not roll but they swapped them over straight away. Canteen prices were decent and not too pricey. Would definitely go again when we are in the area.

Love skating here! Great family time & memories we enjoy our family time & creating memories at Sk8house. One child is not yet comfortable skating. But they felt really comfortable in the seating area

Great time out for the kids.
Very noisy and smelly but great for the kids. $16 for entry $4 skate hire.
On weekdays you can stay as long as you like from 11am.
They have an old school Canteen with great prices. Would recommend going.

Trust me when I say you will laugh and be a little sore the next day. Our family had a great fun time on roller skates. Spend a few hours with friends and the staff are fantastic. Give it a try and feel like a child again it's worth the effort. Cheers Ross

Ok.no offence on the one star from me, as I like the staff here, The music is easily the best of any rink in Melbourne.its just too strict for little old me

A great family environment with a wide range disciplined coaches. General skate sessions had ok music with a decent amount of fun games for the kids

Great Halloween function, but not for the Covid timid participant. Kids loved it and dressed up. Try the Saturday evening functions its a great family sport.

Very unfriendly grumpy old manager or whoever at the counter. NO customer service skills, no welcome, just grabs the money and doesn't even tell u the price! Not a good rink!

What better place to go, and get back into skating. Theres a skateshop with new skates and accessories, they offer classes for beginners, and more advanced too. Theres morning and evening sessions, weekends for the kids. Staff are super helpful, what more coukd you ask for. Its been 20+ years but im getting back into skating

We have skated casually and enjoyed ourselves so much we have started attending lessons. The trainers are incredibly patient and talented and make transitioning from practice excersise to practical skating almost easy… almost
The owners have also looked after us well, inviting us to relax after our lesson to watch the competitive skaters train which has really impressed my daughter who now wants to work towards skating like them.
All in all a great experience

Great place, easy to find with friendly staff and clean facilities. Was super busy with people. Great cafe they do sell skates and socks and stuff as well. Did games and have icepacks for when you fall on your butt haha. Highly recommend

I realise it's school holidays, so more busy than normal. But it was so packed with people that it was just too much for us with nowhere to sit and no space to move.we're not even out of the pandemic yet!
you should do something about your music speakers, its uncomfortable trying to skate in the back corners because its so loud where your speakers sit.

This is a great venue, for those learning the rink has rails on all sides (a must have, but funny enough not as common as it should be). For kids/parents they have bday parties and little food kiosk (the chips are good) and skating games for the parties (parking can fill up fast, so get there early). For adults especially if you are learning, be wary of the weekends (kids parties) as it can be overwhelming with the kids going around hectically splatting infront of you. There is 1 night with an adult skate class, but I wish there was a night with an adult only general skate session (that didn't require a class).

We have been coming to Sk8house as a family for many years and have enjoyed every minute we have spent there. We now have children apart of the speed club and figure skating club and I could fault the coaches or clubs at all, they have all been very welcoming and supportive thru everything.

I am exceptionally happy with my recent purchase from Sk8house. Kevin was extremely helpful and went beyond expectations with providing me the best advice on skating equipment. Kevin has great background knowledge in all aspects of skating. I highly recommend shopping at sk8house!

Kids have been begging to go skating throughout lockdown, very happy their favourite hang is open again.

For many months, I've been skating at Sk8 House. It's a great place to spend time with friend, family, and love ones. It may cause a few injuries, buts it's great fun.
