Sirius College - Sunshine, Ibrahim Dellal Campus (Foundation - Year 10)

I’m Muslim & I would rather send my kids to a catholic school. Staff a arrogant beyond means at this campus. I told my friends not to send her their none Muslim kids to this school because they will get bullied by radical kids that only learn life from arrogant parents. A private school is there to teach your kids how to be stand up future citizens that will make society better but apart from the sub par education at this school your definitely don’t get anywhere near your moneys worth. Up to you if you want to throw away money but I’m happy I didn’t send my kids here.

Absolutely wonderful the greatest school of all time this is completely true everyone should go to this school

It is an institution where great efforts are made to ensure that the quality of education is as important as the quality of education, so that children can be successful in social life, after high school, and in their later years. It is much more successful than similar schools.

This school is a very nice school. I am a student at this school and it is a very nice school. Why do people give fake reviews here, like come on guys, you know better. And what in the world this on review said kids to drugs, like wth that's not true. As a Muslim community we don't do drugs and this school has good education and is a fantastic school.

I may be a student but this is an honest review which no one could do. Shame on those who try to put fake and disgusting reviews/fake information about our school.

This school is trash and they care more of uniform rather than the students education. I would recommend if deepak came but he doesn't. ALSO THE CANTEEN IS SUPER EXPENSIVE LIKE CALM DOWN ON YOUR PRICES!

Ok this school is not ok, My parent have applied me here and thought it was a private school where you learn education in a clean environment, good students, no bullying, big school, girls and boys separated and not wearing the same shirts but NO. They are disgusted to say some students vape and do drugs in the toilet while the principle isn’t doing anything about this. Also students should have ceremonies, for example Eid festivals. Overall wouldn’t recommend this school but it’s decent with learning and coordinators being friendly.just one. Note that the canteen should be free our parents already pay money.

Three of my children are studying in Sirius College. I have a wonderful experience as it offers a very decent environment to its students. Teachers are highly professional and dedicated. Students are well mannered. Overall I am quite satisfied and recommend for others also.

We applied for our child there, despite the facts the campus is so small with limited playing areas and they charge higher fees compared to other independent schools; unfortunately, We had a frustrating experience applying for foundation year and we were surprised when they sent a questionnaire expecting 4 years to know letters, numbers and distinguish between capital and small letters and to write their address. We thought kids go to school to learn these stuff.

They organise an entrance exam for the kid by him/herself only without parental supervision and they never tell you what this exam about or how they pick-up the student or their selection criteria.
They didn't bother talking to us about the education system or the facilities and what we should expect from them compared to BMG or AIA.
We ended up putting him in a government school which has a better rating, we will save this annual fee we supposed to pay for him in a private school in a bank account to help him with university or even to open his own business when he grows up.

In summary, Highly overrated and not recommended

Well lets just say that this school isnt the best and it definetly has room for improvement. Some teachers are nice and some arent that great. There is bullying just like every other school or most schools but you just have to surround yourself with good people. There are some teachers that cant speak english properly but for me thats just my lote teacher but for other people it may not be the case. Last year I had an asian teacher for maths that couldnt speak properly and didnt TEACH properly and one student in my class had a parent teacher interview with her and her mother didn't understand the teacher so she toled her that but the teacher toled the coordinator and the coordinator got that student in troube for nothing. So definetly needs to improve

This is the worst school in the world.it doesn't even deserve half a star.the teachers group up against the parents and parents aren't allowed to speak up for thier children.students are treated with minimal respect.there is no medical privacy they pin the students medical issues in the canteen wall even if the the medical issue isn't food related.

This school does not even deserve a half star. Disgusting! This is the worst school for education. Teachers cant even speak english and they only good for giving warnings on Sirius college website (seqta). These teachers are disrespectful and useless.i do not go to any interviews because i can not stand there disrepect. This will be my last year taking my kids to this school. Teachers are only serious on behaviour and strict but no education. This is by far the worst school in Melbourne. Students get an afterschool detention for chewing gum, how miner is that. I've never seen at coordinator face be so serious about chewing gum until i came to this school. This is ridiculous. They treat the children like animals, as if the children are dogs and the techers are holding a leash on the students. These teacehers only give punsihements out like its planned this is a horrible school. These teachers need education and discipline before it the kids. The teachers speak to the parents like children. The way this school acts and moves is very very wrong! This is meant o be education not HELL. Have a good look at how u teachers act towards others trying to act all nice and act like they are perfect they are humans trying to top themselves and act like angles. NO you are on the same level as the kids not any higher! Making there own rules whenever they like.car park looking like jungle. Student play areas have days to play outside areas what kind of school assigns days for students to play outside. Like go out and play have fun how pish.this new principle is a pish person to be around. 2018
