SinJeon K-Street Food (North Melbourne) reviews
34Sinjeon is my go-to after uni place! Their rose tteokbokki and cheese kimbap are my faves! Fast service and friendly staff!
Been going here many times and never disappoints! Take out and also eating in. I would always recommend this place to my friends too! Delicious food and always great service!
Small little street food place, minimal seating, food was just ok, no toilet facilities at all, good for Takeaway instead
Good comfort food. I really like their Beef Bulgogi Japchae and Kimbap. The restaurant is small and has a homely and cosy vibe.
I ordered food around 8: 20 and estimated delivery time was 8: 50 its okay for waiting 20 more minutes. But they just cacelled the order after waiting an hour.
Visited today for the first time with friends & tried a variety of items from their menu. Everything was absolutely delicious! It's a small place but I felt the ambience was great & service was prompt. It didn't really bother me or anyone but there is no toilet here.just a heads up. We ate, enjoyed ourselves & left with no complaints. Everyone expressed great satisfaction. Definitely rcommended. Thanks!
Very disappointed, i felt sick, i have been to this restaurant so many times and recommended to friends.i am so regretting, Coz
I had a takeaway for school tray (sweet chili chicken) and tuna kimbab.
Found a long back hair (30-40cm) in the sauce with chicken.
I can’t believe how come they couldn’t see when they were cooking them.
The food is well worth the money. Very delicious. Suitable for group of 4+ people because the portion is pretty big.
I go here every Sunday, it is spectacular. Only thing I would recommend is more rice cakes in the Budae Ramen.
Small Korean restaurant with standard options of Korean street food.
It's not bad but the downside of this place is lack of toilet.
My wife found this quaint, little Korean street food restaurant. What we found was that there were many university students in there eating and picking up their take away orders. It's a sign that this restaurant must be good sd it really is. Love everything I ordered and plates were clean when I finished. When you are in Parkville near the Royal Melbourne Hospital, it is well worth it.
I was craving for some kimbap and found this place on Gmap. It's on a quiet street in Parkville/North Melbourne. Takeaway was very fast and efficient. Food was of really good portion and price is reasonable. I loved the fish cake soup and will definitely come back more often.
Never seen a restaurant like this before. Should of gone to Sinjeon CBD franchise. No service-minded, no restroom, unfriendly waitress. I swear I'll never go eat there again.
Kimchi Kimbap is best without cheese.
Rose Cream Topokki is rich and sweet, but bit overpriced.
Overall good.
We’ve had a really enjoyable lunch at SinJeon where we ordered delicious and generous portion of honey soy fried chicken, the creamy rose ttoekbokki and the beef bulgogi bibimbap. I’d say my favourite was the ttoekbokki, I really enjoyed the creaminess and the chewiness of the rice cakes and sausages. The bibimbap was good but I’m not used to having salad in it, I’m more used to having the hot stone dolsot bibimbap so maybe I wanted it to be warmer as a dish. But overall we still really enjoyed our meal:) my only wish was that they had a public toilet because I really wanted a drink but didn’t want to risk it
I was really excited to try sinjeon for the first time but I was really disappointed in the corn cheese, it was really grainy and not much corn, me and my partner both took one bite and said yeah nah, the chicken was meh, the cheese kimbap was good though.
A tiny bit cramped, but the people were nice and the food was great! Definite street food experience:)
Came in for lunch with two friends and the food came out much quicker than expected. I ordered the school tray with chicken. Very nice decor inside however the restaurant has a small sitting space. Delicious food and good vibes, would return.
Muslim friendly dishes. Beef and chicken are halal, taste is original Korean, amount of food is good compare with the price is cheap, environment is clean, foo in the menu may not look fancy but taste is sensational
Great service! Customer service was excellent lady was very nice and accommodating. Will be coming back!
