Went to see Dr Philip Bruder for my previous acne issues and didn't even take a look at the medical reports from my previous clinic. Wouldn't prescribe the medication that I was previous on and wanted to delay it due to blood tests.

I find it incredibly annoying that a professional is suppose to help and not make it harder for their patience.

I wouldn't recommend this clinic at all.

Really unimpressed with the quality of staff on the front desk. They never answer the phone with their name making it hard to provide feedback on specific people, they’ve told me incorrect things about my script which has caused me to not have medication for a week, they have sent my script to pharmacies I’ve never been to on the other side of Melbourne, and they’re never apologetic or sympathetic for their incompetence. They send scripts via mail to your house which is bizarre in 2023 when eScripts exist and you’re left waiting for the postie to see if the mail comes at all! For a very expensive service I’d expect a lot better.

Dr Cranwell was amazing, very detailed, calm and brilliant specialist. He didn’t rush the appointment at all and explained every detail of the plan. Highly recommended.

After suffering stubborn adult acne for almost 2 years and subsequently feeling depressed as a result, I decided to put my trust in this clinic. Unfortunately I left feeling disappointed and defeated.

The appointment was extremely rushed and lasted only 15 minutes (and only due to the fact that I had a lot of questions to ask, otherwise it would have been a 5-10 minute appointment max). The dermatologist was also clearly trying to rush through the questions I was asking. This is a complete joke for a $330 appointment.

There was no attempt to get to the root cause of my adult acne (which is not normal for someone to be experiencing), despite me stating multiple times that I thought it was linked to my gut issues. Rather the dermatologist just wanted to get me out with a script as quickly as possible. There was no attempt to uncover why my acne has returned worse than ever.

I understand specialists are busy, however the priority should be the patients and they should not be overbooking if they cannot give the appropriate time and attention to their patients. I too am a healthcare worker so I understand the pressure however some empathy and compassion would go a long way. Patients are already vulnerable and have decided to put their trust and faith in the doctor, and for this to then be deflated is extremely disheartening for the patient. Please do better.

Unnecessarily difficult to get in touch with reception, when they do pick up or respond to an email they are unprofessional and incompetent. Sent my prescription to the wrong address, didn’t bother to apologise and made me waste two days to try and sort this out.

Had a cyst removed from my scalp by Dr Chitredy.
An open and transparent doctor who did a great job with my minor surgery and nerves. The nurses were also fantastic; from a follow up check in phone call the day after my procedure through to my follow up appts.
6 weeks on and with a tiny scar that's well healed (from a cyst that was on the larger side), I'm very grateful for the care I've received.

I had the most wonderful visit with Dr. Vijaya Chitreddy at the Pascoe Vale South clinic. She was so approachable, caring, compassionate and warm. Not only that, she listened carefully to my issues about my skin, answered my questions thoroughly, and offered such helpful advice. My skin issue has cleared up. I would recommend seeing this highly skilled, excellent, kind and most professional dermatologist as she helped me so very much. The receptionists were also so lovely.
