Simpson Speedway

Good event, well planned, track was brand new, could have done with grading /rolling, otherwise well planned, had a pit pass no dramas would go again.

I've been here 2 times, at the invitational and at the JSPA round.

The round was fun, especially the shape of the track, although my gear box didn't like it (Too high of a gearing).

Track facilities worked well.

Almost don’t want to rate this place for fear of the secret getting out. It’s awesome! Love watching racing here - special unique track with great spectator viewing areas.

Fantastic night sad that we were choking on someone smoking all night. Would be nice if smokers could smoke away from everyone who doesn't want to smoke.

I went there the next day after seeing the sprint cars at Avalon Raceway WOW a smaller egg shape track never been there before.
I sat next to the canteen with my chair which i had a great view watching and did not need to wear safety glasses. You could pay extra and sit up in the grandstand above the containers and see the action also. They needed to have more food trucks there and Mr whippy ice cream van as the canteen sold out very quickly. There was also a Hot Chocolate and Donuts bus there.
I grab dinner back at Colac so did a lot of other people i saw heading back to Melbourne. I got there early to get a car spot.
I did not go to the pits as that cost extra also. A good thing these days now you can book online on there website or wait in the short ques if get there early like i did. This place is in the middle of No were just farming land around it and the shops are back at Colac so make sure you BYO Food or pick up before arriving there. Yes there are toilets there but the lights need fixing up and the place is all on generators. Make sure you have your power packs to charge up your mobiles etc and bring a torch also very dark when they turn the lights out.

Awesome Place too Experience.
Shame it's fenced off unlike Nyora whom encourage vehicle access but it's still a great environment and atmosphere.

Canteen and Food Trucks usually open onsite. No alcohol or smoking permitted.

I encourage you too bring a small gazebo as it's all open area with no Shelter from Weather.:)

Great place, great facilities, great people, remarkable food (especially the chips, cooked to perfection)

Easy entry and parking. Very helpful staff and nice facilities. Unique track and great spectator seating and viewing areas. A great little speedway for competitors and fans.

Husband took me for the first time at the speedway race meeting. My experience is fantastic.will go there again

Great little country track sat up in the new Grandstand last night in turn 1 witch overlooking Simpson speedway greet nights Racing can wait for $10000 All Stars in January.

Told that racing commenced at 5.track prep started at 5. Race called mid way through. Then proceeded to wait TWO HOURS for the next race to begin. Will not be back, absolute joke.

The grandchildren and I went to the all Stars 360 Sprint car racing here. We had a great time and thought the canteen food was delicious, there were hundreds of people. The car racing was exciting we would definitely come back
