The food is just average, It’s over price！Most importantly; you can see that they prefer to serve the Caucasian than Asian.

Very very disappointing meal. Service poor for an upmarket restaurant. Main meal of BBQ combination char su pork and crispy pork in honey and mustard was served cool. Notified the staff politely and it was returned heated up in the microwave and crispy skin was now soft and chewy and no hint of an apology. $40+ and i got a microwave main meal! Definitely will not return!

The decoration is great. Got the AYCE yumcha, PLEASE don’t choose from the menu. Just tell them bring EVERYTHING from the menu so they will know you are serious about getting fed. I chose from the menu and we (2 persons) only got 6 dumpling and 2 side dish for waiting 30 minutes within the 90 minutes session. It pissed me off. Once we tell them all in, they treated us serious. Overall it doesn’t worth $68 per person for the food court quality food. The dumpling skin are too thick and some of the thing done with chicken instead of pork such as chicken siumai, also sticky rice with chicken

Bit on the expensive side for Yumcha on a Sunday. Great view from tables towards the Yarra River. I don’t think we would’ve enjoyed as much if we had seating to wards the inside of the restaurant. Management should look at $75 per person which I think is affordable. Beautiful Ambiance Thank you

However you do pay for quality

From entrance till the end, the service was amazing. However, given that this is a restaurant, I was expecting a good quality food for the price charged. Unfortunately, none of the food hit the mark for me. To be fair did not order any of the a la carte menu and only there for the yum cha special for the moon festival celebration.

We were seated at the most beautiful table against the window. I appreciate each table looked like a comfortable size, being able to accomodate for plenty of dishes to be served and shared around. We opted for the set menu and every dish seemed to get better and better. When I return the dumplings, crispy chicken ribs and Beef main dish would definitely be what I re-order immediately. Each staff member was consistently checking in and making us feel very comfortable, also going above and beyond to help curate a little birthday celebration on our table. Much appreciated, can't wait to be back!

The food was very good and generous servings. The staff were friendly and had very good customer service. The place has a luxurious vibe and their toilets were clean. Overall, recommend this place for fancy Chinese. Worth the price.

Wonderful chinese restaurant with fabulous food. Service was professional and friendly. Highly recommend for special occasion and enjoy a delicious meal and drinks. Iconic of Melbourne at high level. One of the best in Australia right in the heart of the Crown Towers in heart of Melbourne.

A very BIG thank you to the team at Silks - two young gentleman in particular (really wish I'd gotten their names!) for making my Dad's birthday so special. They really went out of their way and above and beyound. He had such a great time, the food was lovely, but the highlight were the staff.
FYI: If you plan on tipping, please tip your waiter directly and with cash as I heard that Crown keep 50% of the staff's tips! So wrong.

The food is very delicious, the place is well designed and we enjoyed the tent in a private space, the waiters are serious but diligent.

We loved it, food was exceptional, service was excellent and the ambience was lovely. We were also celebrating my birthday and it was a lovely touch to receive some chocolates at the end of our lunch. Will highly recommend Silks to our friends.

The overall quality of food and service was average. Food is overpriced and service is certainly average. Something you expect in yum Cha places not a 5 star restaurant!

We had Lobster set menus dinner and served by Su with excellent service. The food are Delicious. Definitely will come back again.
