I was looking for an amplifier and bought a Lyngdorf amp from Sight and Sound store. Richard and Will are very knowledgeable audio experts, provided me a straightforward advice and helped me to figure out the technology I need. I first went there before Christmas 2022, I think. At that time, the gentleman who engaged with me, was so helpful, patient and informative, not to mention not pushy or opinionated. I spoke to the guy who helps me out with my audio stuff and he really rated the people in this business. Fast forward to yesterday and I went straight to Sight and Sound as a purchase destination. I was lucky enough to be in in the market for some good over ear headphone cups as I'm a bit over Air Pods. After the usual internet researching, I had some preconceived ideas about what I should buy. Yet again, one of the team there, just tried to understand what I was really looking for, and for me it is sound quality. He then suggested I should listen to another product (same price, no upselling here) as an alternative to what I had sourced from my internet searches. Just super patient and good to deal with. I swapped and changed between my target headphones and an alternative numerous times - no problem! Just so happens, I have the Bowers and Wilkins external speakers, so it wasn't hard to get me to listen to an alternative.
Me, very happy with the opportunity to open my eyes to alternatives and very happy with my decision.
I know what I like when I listen, but I'm not an audiophile expert. These guys don't make judgements about your 'expertise/experience' and I believe try and sort out the best outcome they can for you once they have an understanding of what you're looking for or what works for you.

We walked to store with little knowledge about home theatre systems. We were greeted by Rob and from there onwards it was a great experience. Had an issue with my DEVIALET Phantom after 18 months. Took it back. It needed to go back to France for repair. Will and his crew provided fantastic after sales service and after liaising with DEVIALET they replaced the PHANTOM! Terrific service guys. Thankyou.

Great place to go for all your audio and home theater needs. Shopped around a few other reputable shops and my mind was made up once I stepped into Sight & Sound. Arch was brilliant and professional in his approach with great attention to detail for the ideal setup in my cinema room. Takes great care in planning right up to execution! Great prices was icing on the cake. Rare to find such service in this industry and would highly recommend Arch to anyone.

After sales integrity and service is lacking. Told me contradictory stories to hide their lack of integrity after the sale was completed. Disappointed and can't recommend them.

The owner's response has distorted their handling of the issue. It is true that they offered a refund, but the offer was so confrontational it was offensive. I am a reasonable person, but I didn't get a reasonable response. What I received were justifications wrapped in confrontation. To be fair, I think Rob agreed with me and was just implementing what the owner wanted, so he was in a difficult situation. I assume that was why he was so confrontational. I suggest reading other low score reviews and you will see there is a pattern to their customer service approach.
It's a pity, because a small change in attitude would help their business. In the end, it is the owner's choice how to handle customer service and I wish them well in the future. I hope this update to my initial comments will help other customers receive better treatment than I did when they are seeking after sales service.

Professional and friendly service from beginning to end! It was my first time purchasing from Sight and Sound and I was concerned about whether the product I was interested in, would be delivered on time.
Arch was very prompt and helpful in his reply. The gift I purchased arrived exactly at the time that he advised (beyond expectation)!

Without exaggeration or hyperbole, by far the absolute best customer service I have ever received. I had never had the budget to purchase a reasonable pair of speakers, so I was a bit nervous buying the Sonus Faber Sonetto III. It was also the first time I have dealt with Sight and Sound Galleria. Rob was very helpful and aloud me to listen to as much of the music I had brought in with me as required. He even set up an alternative pair of speakers in the same price range for a comparison. Terrific service, well set out premises and friendly staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending others to visit them.
