Siam Village Thai Restaurant

Average food but 11.5% WEEKEND surcharge we didn’t know about when we got the bill. We searched the menu and they had a little notice sticky taped in the back of the menu on the inside cover saying the surcharge notice.

We recently held a work staff Christmas celebration here and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. We were a large group of 45 people and had the whole downstairs section of the restaurant to ourselves. The staff were friendly & co-operative, the food was good value for money and there was plenty of it to go round. The kitchen staff catered really well for those in our group who had any dietary requirements, and everyone was very happy with the variety of dished provided with the set menu. I like to come here, it's my local Thai close to work, and a place I fell comfortable when I need to wind down work without any extravagances.

This restaurant was indeed very average. Food was not very tasty with small serves, service was very, very poor, the restaurant closed early and they did not split bills. As I am accustomed to only paying by card, I had to go to an ATM to get cash to pay. This is ridiculous! I also think MSG was used as I am not feeling well at all today. It pays to read reviews before attending restaurants.

Fantastic find! Top service, delicious food for every dish we ordered. Added special item to menu to cater for our fussiest eater. Will visit again & bring more family.

Great food but such a rude lady at the counter. Am unsure if she is the owner or an employee but she doesn’t give a damn about the customers.

Upon entering I realised I would get more recognition from my garden gnomes… ordered beef hot plate, meat was so fatty I couldn’t chew it.the waitress looked angry and was just rude, when paying she didn’t even talk to me or ask about meal… will never go back… ever

Shocking experience seafood was not edible, we called to talk about meal and they were not interested.

I had a lunch with my mate in this restaurant, we had steam fish and seafood TomYum with noddles, the food was absolutely delicious and I would try it again

5 of us dined last night. Service was wonderful evan though they seemed short staffed. Everones food was delicious. Some of the best Thai we have eaten. Wonderful experience and evan though we travelled 20k we will go back.

First time visiting restaurant. Dishes are created fresh and cater for onion free and garlic free dietary requirements. Stir fry lemongrass chicken, roti and vegetable spring rolls. Delicious and definitely returning.

The service is always amazing. Nuc is the best! Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and she is an absolute delight as well. Now the important part, the food; it’s great! It is always prepared fresh and has the perfect balance of flavour and spice.

Quiet midweek, so meals came in timely manner. All our usual orders - entrees X 3, and mains X 3 - for six, were delicious. Roti also nice. Nice table settings. Will go back.

1 star coz can't give anything less. First time to Siam with kids coz didn't get booking at our favorite Thai restaurant, Paradiso Road. Took more than 1 hour to be served. By then everyone was tired and couldn't enjoy food. When complained abt the service the lady owner was very rude and racist. Stated we wouldn't understand coz we not Thai. Gave us discount never apologized and was very rude. Even my 6 year old rated it as worst service ever. If you want to be called racist, want to wait for hours, like to be unwelcomed, treated like s*%t, Siam is the place to go. Very unprofessional, rude and ungrateful. Overbooked during restrictions in the function room with nominal staff. Highly not recommended, specially with kids.

Meals tasty, comprehensive menu and prompt friendly service. They look after gluten free clients well. Just need to fix their coffee machine

My colleague and I went there for lunch, and when we sat down, my colleague kindly asked for the blinds to be pulled down as it was hard to see due to the glare. The owner of the restaurant stormed through the restaurant to the windows and glared at my colleague who is of Asian descent, and said, 'You are lucky to have a table in Australia' and gave my colleague a hatred look which I think was undeserving. I had my back to the lady so I didn't actually hear what the owner said, and If I did, I would have said something. My meal was disgusting, my beef Pad See Ewe: tasted like it had been cooked a week ago. I wouldn't be surprised if I get food poisoning. The business owner should not be allowed to operate as her behaviour towards us as customers was inexcusable.
