Si Senor Art Taqueria reviews
78 Terrible experience at this restaurant
Expensive substandard food and drinks
Over priced. Totally unimpressed
How can you muck up nachos soggy and messy
Si Senor Art Taqueria feels like an essential part of the Carlisle St experience, if you haven't been why not?
this place has a very fun vibe, lots of vibrant colours and gorgeous art.
My partner and I have been here a few times now, and brought a couple friends.at this point we've had just about everything on the menu, so I'll go over some of the favourites:
The Elote Asado is a must, which is basically Corn, feta, cheese, and tajin.
Corderito a shared chip and dip with Lamb, salsa, pico de gallo, severed blue corn chips.
Juarez burrito filled with delicious Pulled beef brisket.
If you keep walking past the neon "Eat. Drink. Love. Taco. " sign, do yourself a favour and go in.
This is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors. From the moment you step foot into the restaurant, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a truly enjoyable dining experience. The menu is a delightful array of traditional Mexican dishes that are bursting with flavor. Don't forget to try their famous guacamole, prepared right at your table - it's a true highlight. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a place to unwind, Si Senor Mexican Restaurant is the perfect choice.
Vile. Got the burrito and quesadilla and both awful. There was no vegetables only beans and meat (which was diabolical) literally could not eat it. Would actively avoid.
The food is fantastic here, I love it. Unfortunately almost every time I order delivery they forget parts of my meal, this has happened Atleast 5 different times. I’m hoping this review can stop this from happening to future customers. Not sure if I will return
Great service, tasty taco and beautiful art decor.
Definitely recommend!
Located right next to the exit of the train station.
Amazing margaritas, good food and service was just right. Highly recommend for a good vibes easy night out.
Food ok.
In the middle of our dinner a waitress that clearly wanted to go home needed to mop the stairs to do so, using a very strong/massive amount of bleach.
I’ve had in the past dinner with a view. Dinner with music. But never dinner with bleach half a meter of us. Not pleasant.
We had to move to a freezing table close to the door and leave sooner that we wanted. Not like the waitress who left as soon as she mopped the stairs with lots and lots of bleach while several patrons were still eating.
Strange.
Burritos and tacos are great, they have Valentina hot sauce on deck which is the best.
Also really good cocktail jugs
Very good customer service!
However, the quality of food/ingredients is very low and it feels cheap and pre-made + from the supermarket for the microwave. A shame as the place is very cute
Quick service, good Mexican food and drinks and an eclectic decorative scheme. Good place for a meal with friends. A bit noisy, but depends on how full the place is. I'll be going back.
Lovely staff, the tacos were great value, just wish the advisors acoustics could have been managed better through some soft architecture shifts
Excellent service, wonderful cocktails and delicious fresh food! What more could you ask for? Will definitely be back
The Si Senor new venue truly is a taqueria meets galleria eatery fusion! The venue is full of colour and vibrant energy from their management and service team. Most importantly the food is packed with flavour and served in genuinely appetite pleasing portion sizes.
Been here 5-10 times and every time is as good as the last. Super friendly staff, fast service and very good food. The burritos are loaded with protein, unlike most places that stuff them with rice. Generous servings with the tacos as well. Recommend trying their deserts and range of margaritas.
Passion mojito
Went for the first time. Amazing venue and experience. Staff was friendly. Was travelling from Sydney heard about this place. Worth a visit if you are in the area.
We ordered from Uber eats. Food arrived hot and they have the best vegetarian burrito I’ve ever had
Food was amazing but service was even better! I usually don’t post reviews but the service here was really so good that I have to give a shout-out! Really lively and fun vibes as well, great place for dinner, definitely would come again!
It was okay. The flavours were good on the lamb taco but for my burrito bowl, it felt like the kitchen had just warmed up my chicken in the microwave and served it to me on my plate. The chicken was hot on the outside and cold on the inside. I probably wouldn’t go back
This was the first time we had visited since they moved from their old location. We all agreed the food wasn’t as good and the margaritas were unbelievably weak. Literally could not taste any alcohol. To top it off the waitress gives us our bill and flat out asks us if we are going to tip. Feeling pressured but not because the service warranted it, we did. Have never had this sort of pressure in a restaurant in Australia ever. Our group couldn’t believe it. None of us will be back
