Fabulous place to pop by and have some culinary delights. From varity of sandwiches, salads, pastas to wonderful cakes, tartes and desserts.
The cappuccino was also perfect and the carrot cake tarte with berries on top was to die for. I would hugely recommend this little gem on Mt Eliza's culinary scene with a quirky decor, fantastic staff and yummy food. If you are visiting Mornington Peninsula you must pop by for a memorable experience.

Very weird experience. I paid for lasagne and coffee. Their coffee is excellent. The lasagne was disappointing. But worse than a bad lasagne, was my card for my bank went missing. I had paid at the counter for my food, sat down and when I went to leave my card was missing. Staff looked for my card - behind the bench etc, but it could not be found. Instead of being kind and helpful, they were almost aggressive and very 'put out'.

Service not good either, the tall guy was rude.

Came in for a quick coffee and a work session. Fantastic coffee and great atmosphere. There are some super funky and cool people in this cafe. I totally recommend.

We love cafe Ate! Such a modern and yet relaxed vibe.the fav place for a truly decent coffee and wonderful breakfast food! If only there was more space! Its definitely a No no for prams - but a real treat for a 'baby free outing'

Worth 8 stars. Ben and Rachel at the helm, and outstanding scrambled eggs. Lucky if you get an indoor table. Beautiful, eclectic room but squashy. Ben's coffee is worth it.

One of my favourite places for lunch, coffee and cake in mount Eliza! Excellent service and great homemade food!

I had the eggplant parmigiana and my partner had the lasagne, we shared a passionfruit and coconut cake. Very excellent, great vegetarian options, really delicious food. We highly recommend.

Shop Ate cafe+store is a wonderfully happy daily experience, with very cheerful competent staff. You can enjoy your latte, either take out or dine in, trying to decide what to indulge your taste buds becomes a challenge from the mouth watering display of yummy dessert or savoury goodies on display.

DISCUSTED AND OFFENDERED!
Dispite their explanation of covid restriction which would be equivalent to lock downs.

A cafe manager asking only us as trades people for covid certifcates when the gov does not require check-ins anymore, and no one else asks, seems we are not the class of people that are welcome there, they would not even allow us to sit on their outdoor tables to wait for our take away orders.

In this world where equality is being pushed so hard, we are discusted and offended at the treatment that would be eqilvelant to us being black in the 1700's.

An outstanding dining experience. Wonderful staff, great coffee, a sensational menu, and absolutely excellent quality food that's as delicious as it gets. It's a very cosy place, and a little eclectic in a very good way. Eat in, enjoy the atmosphere, and love life!

What despicable, revolting, abusive and insensitive treatment by a waitress to a long time supportive customer, their friends and family. Am absolutely disgusted with them.
