Shoes & Sox Malvern

I always love taking my grandchildren to Malvern Central to buy shoes from Shoes & Sox. Recently I was there with 3 grandchildren and it was another wonderful experience. The staff are all so friendly and knowledgeable and just so lovely to the kids. We were in and out wishing half an hour and everyone was very happy. I can only highly praise Shoes and Sox at Malvern Central.

The staff are absolutely amazing. Caring, knowledgeable and never try and over sell. Wouldn’t go anywhere else. If only you could get the same service for adult shoes and clothes!

As always, a successful visit to Shoes & Sox. We live rurally so a proper shoe fitting at a shoe store is always at the top of our list when we visit Melbourne or Adelaide. The kids are always fitted well and the shoe choices are great.

This has been my go-to shop for school shoes since my first child started in Prep 9 years ago. The staff are consistently friendly, even to my children. They are also efficient and knowledgeable. I love the new QR code queuing system - a great initiative. Can’t argue with the 20% discount on school shoes exactly when you need them, either!

I came here (eagerly) to buy my “almost walking” son some shoes. The sales assistant advised it’s not recommended to wear firm sole shoes until baby has been walking for a while as it’s best for their development to be barefoot. This was so refreshing to be given honest advice regarding shoes for my son, even though it meant she wouldn’t get a sale. I will definitely be back to buy from here once he is walking! Thank you

We waited for over 45 minutes to reach the front of the virtual queue. This could be improved by letting people know in advance how long the queue is so they could decide to wait that long or not. When we finally got fitted the girl was very 'quick' to come to a conclusion about the size of my daughter's feet. She brought back a pair of boots that were none of the 3 we selected and proceeded to have my daughter try them on. Despite me saying I thought they sounded big based on her other shoes, and my daughter saying they were too big, she continued to tell me the boots she brought out fit my daughter. When I showed on the boot how bit it was on my daughters foot, she checked again and said, 'you may be right'. Once she took the time to measure her feet again, she realised she was wrong and then told me they didn't have any boots in my daughter's size and I could order online. All up, a bad experience and I'd say don't waste your time. I'm sure there are good staff but to be this hit and miss, I could probably do better online shopping myself and returning shoes if they don't fit.

All the ladies in store were extremely patient and helpful with my children and I today. We have walked out with what we needed and were extremely happy!
