Shizuku Ramen & Craft Beer reviews
22 DO NOT ORDER!
Takes you ages to have the order
And shop never answering your phone call.
Have no idea why this business still open?
Very tasty, fresh, filling and amazing variety of selection. Not just ramen but also rice, bao, gyoza etc. Very well presented on plate as well.
Prices are on the higher end, but the food is worth the price.
Very happy with my meal.
This place is so underrated! It’s too quiet for how good it is. The ramen is so good and there’s so many options, including gluten free and vegan.
Food was so yummy. Unhappy with the wine list. Only one option for a glass of red and all others were a whole bottle. Lacks personal touch as have to order and pay by phone. Small establishment but is cosy and nice decor.
A lovely ramen bar. With many different flavours of ramen to choose from.
Unfortunately for my spicy tonkatsu ramen, it was too salty, which is not to my liking. Which was a shame
The cheeseburger spring rolls were delicious though, I really enjoyed those with the yummy zesty dipping sauce.
My wife's butter corn ramen was very good, A good balance of flavours and not salty at all, but as a suggestion I will swap out the butter they use for ghee as a more healthy alternative.
Would come again to try a different flavour but at the same time there are much better ramen bars in Melbourne
Great Ramen spot - slightly pricier than an average bowl of ramen but the flavour is on point.
An opening hour sign at the front of the shop would be helpful for new customers, walking past it's easy to miss because their shop front is very dark.
One of the best ramen I’ve ever had, it was so good I had to order extra soup. However, it’s a bit pricy and portion size is small for the price you pay.
But can’t complain about the food.
Shameful.
Indicated delivery time was 30mins. Over an hour and a half later my food arrived, cold, and needing to be cooked? I had to boil a pot of water to cook my own noodles.
I'm very sceptical that the beef was Wagyu as advertised. Whatever it was, it was poor quality. $40 for a single serve of ramen I would expect good quality and large serving.
Tried calling the restaurant over and over again for an update with no answer.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Hey where to start! The food was tasty, the service okay and the venue neat and clean, so why the 1 star rating?
Okay the serve size: $22.40 for a bowl of Ramen. For that it better be good or big or both. Like I said taste was okay but it was tiny. If I got charged $12-15 no complaints but this wasn't a little bit over, no it's way over. Ingredients standard so that wasn't the reason. Tokyo Table up the road offers better value and superior taste.
Next Thing: you can only order via the QR code, okay that's more normal these days but there's a surcharge there of $0.65.why? ! Credit card? I didn't get an option. So I didn't get a meal for $22.40 but $23.05. Just build it into the price! Yeah $23.05 for Ramen doesn't sound so good.
If you're keen to try you had better hurry because they might not be a long term option. Suggest you just wait in the queue at Tokyo Table and count your lucky stars that you're not the one writing this review with buyers regret!
This business poses as 8 different restaurants at the same location with different business names through ubereats. If the food was amazing, why pose as so many different businesses? Unethical, unprofessional.
Food was quite delicious. A bit expensive for what it is. I've had Michelin star ramen for a lot less.
Same phone number, menu, and address on Uber Eats as Sōko Laksa Ramen.
The food took over 1 hour and 40 mins to arrive.
I attempted to call the place 21 times, and my housemate tried at least 5 times. No one answered the phone.
When it finally did arrive there were instructions for us to cook the ramen ourselves.
Ordering here is paramount to a scam. If you can avoid it, I recommend nobody ever order from here or their affiliated, alternate named facilities.
Update your closing hours very poor customer service to be told kitchen closed at 930pm when your opening hours are until 2am
Ordered via Uber eats under one of their other restaurant names, Ramen Ryujin. Currently just passed over 2 hours waiting and haven’t been able to call any of the attached numbers. Don’t order if actually want to receive your food.
This was a fantastic find! We were craving ramen and this place absolutely delivered. I was beyond thrilled with the quality and flavor of my dish. The atmosphere was friendly band inviting. They also had great drink selection. I'll definitely be coming back.
Disappointing since we are forced to order all online by creating a whole account with personal info which is a hassle.even when nobody else in the restaurant. Also the menu is very expensive ($22 for ramen) $13 for single beer. And the ramen broth was bland, too much oil added. Wouldn’t come back.
Is this how you treat your customers by not picking up their calls? I’ve been calling since an hour regarding my order through Uber eats and none of you guys were responsible enough to attend even a single of them. Shame on you guys.
Great food and great location. Portions were big and it was just perfect for Melbourne’s winter.
Terrible service. Food was ordered at 7: 25 and was supposed to be delivered by 8-8: 20pm from around the corner. The food arrived at 9: 45pm. To note, the restaurant didn’t provide any customer service and didn’t answer any calls to provide an update the entire time.
Lovely experience, great flavour, rapid service, fresh decor. Ramen was well portioned. Menu was abundant. Keen to try the dons in future - they look vibrant and fresh.
Edit - Tori Paitan ramen was delightfully delicious. A little on the moorish side so come hungry!
